Like another lady who commented, my friend and I had a very similar experience. We went in a few weeks ago during the craft show and the two woman working were so rude. They didn't acknowledge us at any time and gave dirty, snotty looks acting like we were beneath them. We could also afford anything in that store but we both said we would never buy anything from them after the way they treated us. There are far too many other small businesses that deserve our business. I can see why besides us there was only one other lady in there, they most likely drove away and continue to drive away customers.

I went in there to buy a dress for my brothers wedding, going in I realized that this store is priced on the “higher” end but I was fully prepared to spend. The workers were EXTREMELY unaccommodating. The elderly lady and elderly man that work there were extremely rude. They looked at me and my party as if we were below them. The elderly woman turned to the elderly man and asked if he “liked children,” referring to me (I am 20), my sister (she is 18), and my sister in law who is 21 as children. Not to mention the fact that we were there with our moms. So unprofessional. I was extremely unimpressed and disgusted by the people inside this shop. The whole 15 minutes that I was in there was a complete waste of time, neither worker made any effort to help me or anyone in my party. All that the elderly woman said to my party was “The sale section is over there.”

Amazing experience! I went into Monkees after window shopping, and was so happy I did. The owner was very helpful and found a pair of dressy shorts for me that fit perfectly, and a pair of tortoiseshell earrings. I live well over an over away but will be back for a day in downtown Stuart and a stop at Monkees. Bright, punchy colors and casual and dressy options-something for everyone! Palm Beach vibe for sure.

I found a dress on Monkee’s of Stuart Instagram page, but I was unable to make it to the store before my engagement photo session that I wanted the dress for. I work at the local hospital & have been so busy. I asked my fiancé to go pick up the dress in a small and medium since I didn’t know what my size was. Kim was a great help! I absolutely loved the dress, but the customer service was amazing. I will forever recommend this store & will be back to shop for more.
