They were so kind when our cat Simon passed away. Imagine our surprise when we received a condolence card after. They really treated us and our beautiful cat so very well. We will forever be grateful for them and their kindness.

The staff here is simultaneously compassionate, patient, and incredibly competent. Thank you for helping Clover, who is at the best of times a little spit fire. Every night Clover stayed here we received thoughtful updates about her care that gave us the peace of mind we needed. We can not thank you enough

We had our kitty scheduled to pass away peacefully in our home, but she couldn’t make it that long. Pet Emergency got us into the office immediately, within seconds, and she was at peace. We cannot thank you enough for your speed, your gentleness with her, and the respect you gave to her. She was an angel in our lives, and today you were angels to all of us.

Last night we had the scare of our lives with our 2 year old dog Zoey. Dr Shepard and his team went above and beyond to help Zoey. Although we couldn't afford emergency surgery he gave her fluids and medications to get her through the night and he gave us resources to call for her. Even after a long night of work Dr Shepard called this afternoon to check on Zoey and make sure she was doing ok and got in to somewhere for Zoey to have the life saving surgery she needed. I would give 100 stars if I could.

I called before my visit and the person I spoke with was so kind. Every step was explained to me: call when you arrive, they meet you at the car to gather additional information and assist you in getting your fur baby into the clinic. The staff was compassionate and caring.

Had to take my 14 year old dog here today. He's been here once before for a UTI years ago. In both instances, the staff were professional, caring, and informative! I really appreciated the exceptional care and attention they gave my fur baby. They treated my dog like he was one of their own. I give them my highest recommendation if your pet is in need of emergency care and you can't get to your regular vet.

I have been to Pet Emergency Martin County several times. The reasons included urinary blockage in a male cat, bladder stones in a female cat that required an immediate surgery, and other issues. My most recent visit was with my cat Felix, who was straining in litter box, and for a male cat that’s a true emergency. He wasn’t blocked, but very close to it. Per Dr. Mettee‘s recommendation, I left him there overnight. They started IV, ran urinalysis and started him on antibiotics and anti inflammatory meds. I received a call shortly after 7 AM that Felix was doing great, and was ready to go home. I am almost positive that if I didn’t bring Felix to the ER, he would have gotten blocked overnight.Every time i go there, staff members are very professional and compassionate, and I truly recommend this place.

Being that this is an emergency hospital and there are different doctors there, I'm sure it makes a huge difference on your experience depending on the Dr. You get. I was not so lucky. First thing you should know is they won't let you come inside. They make you wait in your car and they come to your car and get your pet. My guess is so they can see what kind of car you drive so they can charge you accordingly. I found a litter of kittens and a couple of them started to decline. I took them to Pet Emergency of Martin and immediately after taking the kittens in, the Dr. (And I use that term loosely) examining the kittens ran back outside to tell me they had rabies, which was false. She asked me if we have been bitten by any of them (scare tactics) and rambling off prices of what all the tests and treatments would cost. Obviously I didn't feel comfortable there so I asked them to bring them back to me and after paying the "exam" fee I took them somewhere else. After being seen by my vet of over 25 years whom I trust with all my animals and discussing with several rescues, the kittens most likely had panleuk which is very common in kittens. Unfortunately those 2 kittens did not survive but all other 8 and mom did and they are thriving. No rabies in sight !!

My buddy (dog) of 14 years was having seizures on a Sunday. He had been having them for a few days. The staff at Pet Emergency of Martin County were amazing. They took him right in, put him on O2 and soon the Dr came out and explained the seriousness of the situation. It was decided to relieve my buddy's suffering and Dr. Montilla explained the entire procedure as it occurred, gently helped my dog to relax and slip into a state of peaceful unawareness at which time the Dr. gently guided my dear dog over the "rainbow bridge." I am a retired Hospice Chaplain and would have been blessed to have doctors with this man's gentle touch at our patient bedsides. Thank you.

EVIL INHUMANE PEOPLE. LIBERAL EXTREMISTS. I drove 30 minutes with my cat dying in front of me, I get there and a woman with a mask on tells me I can't go inside with my dying cat! It's 2023! They NEED to disclose this on the phone! Pure evil and disgusted. How dare them not tell you on the phone and think anyone would want to just drop the pet off at the door to potentially die without the owner with the pet. And by the way masks don't work for anything we all know that now. No clue how these people live with themselves and work at a place like this.

I had to take my handsome 17 yr old boy- Simba for help, policy has you wait outside, which is hard. I saw the most wonderful, patient, caring man, who discussed cost of test etc; 550 and me out of work! Getting ready to help my 93 yr old Mam in UK,who would take care of medical needs.I was a blubbering mess.Man prior brought his dog who was hit by car and left, did not make it ,so that started me off, I had to do right for my dear boy Simba, thank you Dr Hernan Montilla for your compassion, and convincing me any decision would be the right one,he had a happy life.I had already taken his brother Tinker, a year ago and the lady Vet at that time, was not so nice ,quoted 700 ,which turned into over 1000, merely few mins after on my arrival, to pick poor boy up.

We have had two emergency's with our Boykin spaniel mix Winnie related to allergic reactions and ear infections. When you have a whimpering, howling dog on a Sunday afternoon making it clear they are in pain, your options are limited. Thankfully Pet Emergency has come through. For the service they provide the price is on the reasonable side of expensive. Lab work, blood work, prescriptions, vet visit, it's all bundled in one single price. With a regular vet the full treatment visit might run $800-$1,000 but on the two visits, both were at $500 or $300 depending on the services provided, which seemed fair. You wait in your car for a vet tech to triage, keep you posted on the wait time and escort your beloved pup to an indoor facility, bring them back and hand you the bill. This is less stressful for pup and pup parent. It's obvious in the kind demeanor of the vet techs and nurses that they love what they do. The phone consult with the vet was informative, not rushed and gave me the information that I needed to make an informed decision. I was impressed that they took a different approach on the second visit that cleared up the infection and set us on a course of preventative care that will hopefully avoid future emergencies. We have high standards in ER vet care. When we lived in IL, we saw the vet that treats area police dogs exclusively. They have an ambulance to provide mobilized care onsite in the event the police dog is injured. They participate in going home ceremonies for pups killed in the line of duty. They provide innovative, best in class treatment at an affordable rate and are committed to keeping costs as low as possible for pet parents. No wonder they have a waiting list to join their practice. Pet Emergency is on par with the level of care we received with the best in class IL provider. Like them, they prefer to obtain recent records from other vet providers to give the best targeted care possible for your pet but they are also not afraid to take a different approach, which they did with our pup to better results. My only wish is that Pet Emergency of Martin County had a day practice. Sometimes the wait might be long because the service is needed by many, but the time goes by when you are in your own car vs. some waiting room. Our pup was less stressed and happy to snuggle up in my lap comfortably while waiting for care.

Exceptional care for our furry friends! The team at Pet Emergency of Martin County goes above and beyond to provide top-notch veterinary services. From the warm welcome at the reception to the thorough and compassionate care from the veterinarians and vet technicians. My little girl Shia had an emergency on June, and she was treated like family, and I appreciate the expertise and dedication of the staff. The clinic is clean, well-equipped, and the staff is knowledgeable about a wide range of pet health concerns. Thank you, Dr. Molina and the team, for being a trusted partner in keeping our beloved pets healthy and happy.
