Have always had good experiences with dry cleaning services, and I am especially happy with the alterations Jacque provides at Stuart’s Hometown Cleaners on Kindred Street. She has done wonderful work for me fixing items, taking things in, and changing hemlines. I would highly recommend her!

Brought in a new pair of suit slacks to be hemmed. Pinned them and when I went to pick up they charged me 26.75 and as I was looking at pants they cut them straight across with no hem.. she said oh I’m sorry! I asked for refund she said let me give them back to seamstress to Hem. I said now they will be way too short!! Meanwhile I’m letting them try to hem, a week later again and out 250.00 , plus what they charged me to just cut the pants.. will see. If they are not correct, someone better reimburse for a brand new suit.. never seen this done ever at any Tayloring shop! Very disappointed ☹️Will let you know outcome, to be continued..

Biggest ripoff. Just paid $75 to take in and hem a pair of basketball shorts. Highway robbery.

Jacque The seamstress is absolutely wonderful. I brought her in a lace gown, and she hemmed it perfectly. The turnaround time is quick, and the ladies who work at the front are also very nice. I just dropped off another item to be hemmed, and I know she will not disappoint! See Jacque for all your alteration needs.

Went to grab a newly “drycleaned” shirt from my closet and multiple shirts are like this. So either they didn’t even wash or they washed w the sleeves rolled up and then saw this and still neglected it. Either way gtfo.

I wish I got the woman’s name who works here. She is awesome. So friendly, nice, great sense of humor. Recently dropped off a bunch of shorts to be hemmed and had a great experience.

I do not recommend going here, poor customer service and clearly lack of communication internally. Dropped off my dress for alteration on a Wednesday at the hours their seamstress was there. Was told it would be ready by the following Tuesday, received a call in the morning letting me know their seamstress did not do anything to the dress the whole week... No communication to me in advance on why they did not alter the dress until the day I was suppose to pick up.Service: Alterations

I dropped three brand new shirts off for laundering and pressing, got three shirts back on hangers, just as wrinkled and unwashed as when I sent them in. Also, I have a standing request for light starch, but no starch on shirts. It’s almost as if they just put them right on the hanger without doing a thing.

I have been a long-term customer of this particular dry cleaner. I went in the other day and dropped off a white shirt for laundering. When I went to pick it up, I was overcharged substantially. I asked the woman why it was so much, and she said because it's a jacket. I showed her the item and told her it's obviously a shirt and not a jacket. She agreed. Next, she said I was charged for dry cleaning. I told her that I asked specifically to have this laundered as it was just a denim shirt. Her response to me was " you have been a long-term customer, and you need to have more flexibility with us". I told her that the person who accepted my clothes was brand new, and had just started that week. I asked to pre-pay the clothes, and they did not give me the pre-pay rate, they charged me for a a jacket instead of a shirt, and they dry, cleaned it when I asked it to be laundered. The only thing I was asking was the pay the correct amount for the service I requested. I contacted the manager Debra about this, and she couldn't have given me worse customer service. She told me that the employee wasn't going anywhere. What? I didn't want the employee fired. I just wanted to pay the correct price for the service I requested. She promised to call me back after I sent her a picture of the item, and she didn't. I sent her a text stating that apparently the bad customer service started with the manager. Then my phone immediately rang, and she was so rude to me that I couldn't even stay on with her and had to get off. I recommend finding a different place to have your clothes taken care of. Obviously, these people do not stand behind their their business or their work.

Update: thank you for your quick response .I had a much better experience with the Sewell Point location. So, if the person who answered, had said there is another location with a tailor today that would have been great. ThanksI would have used this business but, they were not very nice on the phone, very unprofessional. Then they say the seamstress is only in from 10-2 Mon. Wed. Fri. What is that. People need to work and that is a small window. I will have to find someone else. Girl who answered the phone needs phone training.
