“Almost 30 years ago I purchased a beautiful Tokugawa period Japanese woodblock print while I was working in Tokyo. The Ukiyo-e style triptych (a single scene made of three separate panels) depicted a historical event in one of my favorite places in the world. Soon after I returned to the States with my treasure, a business opportunity arose requiring a move across the country, so rather than having it framed, it was packed away. We made several more moves in the next 15 years with the print packed away securely. When I finally dug it out, I was unable to think of a method of framing that would do justice to the piece, so it went back into storage.
A few weeks ago, knowing my oldest son shared my interest in Japanese culture, I determined to find someone who could understand how it should be presented and make it a gift to him. We were extremely fortunate to find Candy Coldwell of Kings gallery who in a very short time put the panels together perfectly and created an heirloom for our family. A thing of beauty is a joy forever. Thank you Candy!”
“My wife and I had a great experience here. We picked out a few olive oils and vinegars, plus a few colorful utensils for our kitchen. Our favorite combination ao far is the Tuscan herb oil paired with the mango vinegar, they make an amazing vinaigrette. Highly recommended!”
“We had such a wonderful experience getting our daughter’s ears pierced here!!! Super clean shop, and the lady who helped us could not have been nicer and was simply wonderful with our daughter! Highly recommend going here instead of a jewelry shop if you’re getting your kids ears pierced, these people know what they’re doing!”
“I (and more importantly, my wife) couldn't be more pleased with the job we recently had done here (mounting and framing a professional watercolour work). Reedy's is a one-person operation that looks pretty homespun, but the work is excellent, the price is most excellent, and the proprietor, Tammy, has a very nice aesthetic sense. She has great ideas and suggestions for how to best show the piece, but doesn't push any upgrades or up-sell you.”
