BEWARE of doing business with Gerson or Summer Tile! He quoted us a price in his shop when we picked out the granite. Then when he came to the house it was much higher price. When we questioned him, he started lowering it a bit but not to what the original price we were quoted. When we asked about it, he stopped returning our phone calls. This was after we were even on his calendar for install. We had spent hours of our time going to his shop, choosing the granite, talking with him, choosing sinks, etc. We feel when he came to the Villages and “sized” us up, that’s when the price changed. Or, at least that’s the only thing we can think of. Numerous messages and trips to his place and he won’t talk with us or explain his position. SO BEWARE!!! He may do good work but he has NO ETHICS!!

Gerson was fast and responsive before our countertop was installed. We did a few estimates prior and he was definitely the most affordable. Our countertop is beautiful. Although we did have some installation issues. We have a waterfall edge and they drilled the whole for an outlet. Which we did not want to have there. Our sink was also installed incorrectly. It took HIS plumber 2 trips to be able to replumb the sink and garbage disposal. Our counter was installed on Friday. We were told the plumber would be here on Saturday. They came Monday around 4pm. We did not have a working sink until tues evening. The last time we had a response from Gerson was on Saturday after our counter was installed. His plumber told my husband it was our fault the sink was backwards. The soap dispenser is above the small side of the sink. Still no communication.

I would give 0 stars. Poor communication, deceptive practices and shoddy work. Do not use Summerfield.

We could not be happier with the results of our new granite counter tops. Gerson is a very enthusiastic and energetic man who obviously loves what he is doing! From our initial visit, having been told by a friend that we just had to see what Summer Tile had to offer, to the install, this company is a delight to deal with. The granite we picked was not on the premises, so it had to be ordered. When it was delivered to his shop, Gerson called us, inviting us up to see the slab before he started cutting it. When his crew showed up for the install, they were very efficient and professional. In talking with the crew members, it was obvious they enjoyed their work and took great pride in what they were doing. Due to some extenuating circumstances in our household, Gerson even arranged for a plumber to come by and reattach the water supplies to the three sinks. Seriously, we could not be happier with the end result and would highly recommend Summer Tile to anyone looking to replace their counter tops.

Gerson gives you a wonderful countertop for a reasonable price, and he is very fast. He has lots of samples and explains the differences well. We love the countertop, it is just amazing!! Thanks so much Gerson.

I’m very happy to share a great review for a fantastic company! My wife and I stopped into this shop on a Thursday afternoon and we had new counters fully installed the following Monday. We were able to pick our granite from inventory Summer Tile had in stock and the crew moved slabs around so we could choose our favorite two slabs. Gerson was very easy to deal with and I feel we received an exceptional value. I would highly recommend you check these guys out.

You will not be disappointed! Summer Tile has all the name brands of granite and quartz to pick from and they completed our kitchen and bathroom countertops four days after ordering. Fair and reasonable price! The install was wonderful and Gerson and his crew were all exceptional! We would highly recommend this company!
