A new bank with just one ATM that's broken all the time for some reason. Teller's that take 10 minutes to figure out how to give you money from your account. Truly a sad place.

FRAUD BE AWARE! The absolute worst Truist Branch. The branch manager allows fraudulent transactions and claims no wrong. We asked for help to figure out what happened and how it could be corrected. The branch manager states she has no way to know what branch cashed the check. That was a lie. After further inquisition she in fact can tell what branch cashed the check. After questioning the appropriate process of verifying a written check prior to the teller cashing it, the branch manager states she doesn’t know the correct process of verifying a signature when accepting a written check to cash. Again, the branch manager dodged the question thinking we would accept the subpar untruthful answer. The branch manager states “that isn’t my job to know” regarding the verifying process. She also claims she wouldn’t share the process if she knew because it would compromise their security process. Not sure what security process she’s speaking of considering they cashed a fraudulent check with a signature that isn’t even the name of the only approved signer on the account. I am appreciative to the teller who caught the SECOND fraudulent check that was attempted to be cashed on the same day AT THIS BRANCH and called us immediately. There was no acknowledgement of wrong doing from the branch manager and we were very rudely given the run around. I am not sure how she made it to be a manager of a branch without any customer service skills but it would explain the terrible reputation of this location. Do not go to this branch, use any other Truist branch.

They use a foreign calling center, which I’ve no problem with except for English, accented so thickly that you’re able to understand less than one word in five. I speak English, Castilian Spanish, Alt Deutsch, a little Mandarin Chinese, and I couldn’t understand Truist customer service representatives. I get complimented for my diction from immigrants and foreign nationals because I obviously cared more about being understood than Truist Bank cares that you can understand their employees.I wouldn’t recommend this financial institution to anyone; not because they use a foreign call center, but because they have obviously never cared enough to evaluate the diction of whom they choose to employ to serve their customers. That’s lousy customer service. I mean lousy as-in terrible.Again; I would never recommend Truist to anyone…until they improve their customer service. If I can speak any of four languages and be understood perfectly, then Truist should be able to evaluate the diction of the employees in its call centers.

Not the SunTrust bank I once trusted and enjoyed. Since the changeover to Truist everything has gone downhill. Look elsewhere.

Had nothing but problems with this bank. Opened a checking account Jan 2022. Opened at what we thought was Suntrust as that is the bank my paycheck was drawn on. The representative said we were one of the first to have a Truist account. Well I had nothing but problems trying to cash my paychecks for the next month till the changeover. This was especially true with the branch on 301 in Wildwood. They could never find me in their system despite 2 forms of ID and giving my social security number. I kept getting told my account was with BB&T and they could not access those records. They usually had to get the branch manager to override so I could cash my paycheck. I told them if I had known I would have this much problem cashing my paycheck for a month I would have never opened an account with them. We were suppose to get cash back Credit Cards but instead received debit cards. With the credit cards it was suppose to be free checking but we were charged a $20 monthly fee after the changeover. The branch on 441 was usually packed so wait was long to try to speak to someone about the problems. It was about a 1.5 hour process just to open the checking account. The only saving grace was at least the tellers were pleasant but we closed the account March 2022.
