“I moved recently to this area and was looking for a groomer for my miniature schnauzer and came across with this place. I went in and immediately I feel the great energy in this establishment. From the welcoming face in the front desk to the staff who are working directly with the dogs. So I left with and appointment for my dog. I took her in today and the same energy when we got there. Now my dog is a little snappy when she doesn’t know the other person, and they were so great on greeting her and receiving her. I left her there to get her grooming done. After I received the call to go and pick her up and when I got there, the same smiling faces and welcoming staff greeted me and my dog looked so good and beautiful. When I pulled up on the property it didn't look like a commercial property, but then I seen the ponds. I parked knocked on the barn doors and a very kind lady came out to help me. I asked her for what I wanted and she invited me in and I was like a kid in a candy shop! What a cool experience it was as a fish/aquarium lover to see all the great things they had going on. “Today was a really hard day for me. Honestly, it’s been a hard couple of months since losing my job. I’ve been doing everything I can to make ends meet while trying to find another one, and lately it’s been getting harder and harder.

Today I went into PSM in Ruskin because I had run out of dog food. I was trying to find something healthy for my pup that was a little more affordable than what I had been buying. The first employee who helped me was incredibly kind and took the time to help me find a good replacement at a lower price point. She even explained how to properly transition my dog from one food to another.

My plan was to buy one bag of the old food and one bag of the new food because I thought I had just enough money for both. But when I got to checkout, my card declined. I was absolutely devastated. I had the money earlier that morning, but by the time I checked out, what I thought I had available was suddenly about half of that.

I went to put one of the bags back, and honestly, I was trying so hard not to break down in the middle of the store. The woman helping me — and it was actually her first day — was unbelievably sweet and reassuring. She even offered me a hug. The manager also stepped in and showed so much kindness and compassion.

They could have treated me like just another customer, but instead they treated me like a human being who was having a hard moment. They both reassured me that everything was going to be okay, and that kindness meant more than they probably realize.

I keep coming back to this store because the employees here treat customers like friends instead of strangers. Today, they truly made a difference during one of the worst days I’ve had in a long time.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get their names because I was actively trying to hold myself together, but I hope their leadership sees this and knows they have amazing employees with huge hearts. Their kindness meant so much to me, and I’ll never forget it.”
