The hours for this bank are ridiculous! Why wait til 9 am to open? The drive through isn’t even open! Is there not a way you could at least open the drive through at 8 am?

Lies, unprofessional, and incompetent. I've had many mortgages and home equity lines of credit (HELOC) and this was the worst experience I've ever had personally and seen as a Realtor since I've been a licensed Realtor since 2002. I was told that there would be zero costs on my HELOC which is the norm for almost all banks. To begin with, they don't have a secure upload system for people to upload docs so you are sending personal info via email to multiple people making it very easy for someone to hack their system and obtain your personal info (social security number, copy of driver license, bank statements, tax returns, etc). This was the first red flag. You are not kept updated about the process of your loan (red flag). You are emailed docs to print out and email back and then you get the same things in your mailbox weeks later(?), but are told you don't need to fill then out. Then days or weeks later you are told that they missed a page on the scanned docs they sent to you and now you have to do it over again because now the "deadline(?)" has passed and everything has to be re-submitted. Dinged my credit 3 times! More red flags. Finally, after two months of total incompetency and BS from the branch manager and the kid processing the loan we get a closing date and are told the closing costs are $4,000 for the zero closing cost loan! Perhaps they wrongly assumed that after being jerked around and lied to that we would sign just to be done with it. No way! All I can say is AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! ***UPDATE - I read the lame response from Regions and decided to try it so I could tell someone who might care about the lies being told from the Sun City Center location. I followed the instructions on their response and this is what I got "Thank you for connecting with us. How can we be of help?" Hector - Social Media Customer Care*** No call back. No nothing. If you are considering using Regions Bank for anything...I would go elsewhere!

Went into the bank at roughly 4:30 on Wednesday. We told the woman at the counter we were there to open a checking account. She told us to have a seat and someone would be right with us. We only saw 2 other workers in the lobby and the one gentleman said he would be right with us. We walked out of the bank at 5:00 because they were closed. Not one other person said a single word to us. 4 people sat in a cubicle and socialized for 30mins laughing and joking. Horrible customer service. Maybe a blessing for us I guess. We just moved here and wanted to transfer our entire retirement to this bank. Guess we found out ahead of time what we were in for.

I had an appointment for 10am today and no one answered the door after me knocking Several times. I then called the number that they have plastered over the front door telling everyone “to make an appointment.” I called the number someone from inside answer the phone and asked me what was my appointment for? I said “personal banking matter”...she then Insisted that I explain it to her over the phone..after doing so she then cut me off and said “That I was told to come through the drive through by a manager” which was not the case. I would have gone directly to the drive through rather than putting on mask..and waiting outside the front door... then She directed me to go through the Drive through and wait in line. I just don’t understand what was the point of me making an appointment if I have to sit and wait in line.....In the drive through...when I have such a busy day ahead of me. I just moved to the area and I will be driving the extra mile or so to avoid coming to this location. 0 stars if I could!
