“You can tell that everyone from front desk to the doctors care about your pet. I feel so reassured when the vet calls to follow up and ask about my pet after a treatment.”

“I have visited this office twice and both times the staff was welcoming and patient with my terrified furr baby. The doctors listen to truly understand and don’t appear to be trying to upsell services. They are up front and transparent about their pricing, which is reasonable. Overall great experience.”

“We see Dr. Wade typically and have also seen Dr. Fritz. Amazing vet practice! They are so good at explaining everything and keeping my babies comfortable. Also, I will never forget how gentle and respectful Dr. Wade was when we had to put my best friend down. The entire staff made a very tough situation as gentle as it could be, and even sent a lovely card signed personally by everyone. I will never forget how kindly they treated us. Additionally, they have a great puppy package. They do wonderful getting us scheduled quickly and no extensive wait time, they’re pretty prompt about appointment times. This is a great business.”

“I relocated to St Pete but I still drive home to my trusted vet. They recently helped me take my sweet baby boy across the rainbow bridge. After a decade + of impeccable service to my sweet darling, they made sure he had the best passover possible. There are no words. I am so greatful to my hometown veterinarian. I love Apollo Beach and Im so glad my baby boy passed away at home, with the people with trust the most.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Family Animal Hospital. One of the things that consistently impresses me is how much they genuinely look out for their clients—not just the animals they care for, but the people too. Every time we’ve been there, I’ve felt like they go out of their way to keep costs reasonable and avoid unnecessary expenses. It’s rare to find a veterinary practice where you feel this confident that they’re looking out for you. Their prices have always been very reasonable, the care has been excellent, and I’ve never felt pressured into unnecessary tests, treatments, or services. There’s a real sense of honesty and integrity in the way they practice veterinary medicine. Dr Bertolo and Dr Bannon are especially compassionate, caring and considerate on every visit. The vet techs are also friendly, respectful and always so helpful.”

“My dog was dying and our appointment was for Friday, but she got worse, so we called the clinic and they made room to see her. I recommend them because they were really kind regarding our situation and our grief. I 100% recommend them for their service and for being empathetic to our pain.”

“I was referred to Boyette Animal Hospital by a trusted friend. Once I established them as my dog Arlo's go-to veterinarian I needed a refill for anti-inflammation medicine. This required follow up blood work to ensure it would not cause other problems. Fast forward, because I was leaving town I was on a short leash and needed the prescription pronto. I wanted to compliment Tony who took my call near closing time for her professionalism and patience with helping me get my prescription filled. I also was really impressed with the TJ, the manager for her professionalism, responsiveness and effectiveness. I highly recommend Boyette Animal Hospital. One Year Later - 2/9/2026 - Arlo had annual check up. All thumbs up. Dr. Audrey gave me a calorie plan to follow with Arlo. I had no idea how many calories were in Arlo's snacks. Corena was my tech for Arlo, she is really talented. The whole staff is so opposite the Vet franchises. Again, I am sticking with Boyette Animal Hospital!.”

“I trust that my pet receives the best possible care from Dr. Traci and all other staff. My questions are always answered and there is never any high pressure sales for unnecessary treatment, only care and compassion. I know if Dr. Traci recommends something it’s only because it’s necessary for my pet’s overall well being, not to boost a bottom line. That trust is priceless and I’m very grateful!”
