I have been thrilled with my progress over the last 5 months. With Giuseppe I went from being unable to squat at all to doing squats holding 20 lbs. I could not go up stairs without being winded and now I easily use the stairs. He has improved my posture. And, with his guidance I have lost weight and developed muscles !! “3/3/25—This morning, I woke up debating whether to exercise. I figured I would try the CrossFit gym near me. I almost signed up for the one-month contract but decided to drop in first—I didn’t want to risk buyer’s remorse.
I took a Lyft and barely made it on time. It turned out to be surprisingly close to the house I’m renting for the month. As soon as I walked in, the training started right away. I got a solid workout in and shared a rack with a friendly lady, and later, a second person joined us. Today’s workout included running—800m, 400m, and 200m—but I only ran as much as I felt was enough.
After the workout, I noticed they had a coffee machine and some treats for sale. The bathroom felt like a spa, which was a nice touch. I wanted to buy a T-shirt, but the staff was busy with a competition. I’ll stop by later to get one since I like collecting workout T-shirts from different places I’ve trained around the world. Oh , they jump ropes and other goodies . Actually I tried the jump ropes they had hanging inside the gym . Really good ones !
So, I am still in the debating phase. I’m not sure if I should commit to the three-times-a-week plan for a month. I also want to try different workouts like Pilates, pole fitness, and boxing, so I need to figure out a plan.”

Attention to detail is everywhere—weights racked neatly, space laid out so you’re not dodging some guy curling in the squat rack, and bathrooms so clean you’d trust them for a protein shake taste test.
The vibe is where V3 really flexes. This isn’t some soulless chain where you’re just another membership number. It’s a small, locally owned business with heart. The people are friendly, the energy is contagious, and somehow you leave drenched in sweat but also weirdly happy about it.
If I hadn’t moved away, I’d still be here every week—grunting, sweating, and pretending I didn’t almost cry during burpees. V3Perform isn’t just a workout, it’s a lifestyle upgrade… and a reminder that yes, you can survive one more rep.”

“DBC is incredible. I started training with Joana Ortega because I had lower back pain that was starting to impact my mobility. Within a few weeks the back pain was gone and we were working on serious strength training. Instead of dealing with pain and limitation I was doing deadlifts, squats and heavy lifting and feeling amazing. My sessions with Joana were the highlight of my week and one of the things I miss most about living in Miami. The environment at DBC is also great - very welcoming but also intense and motivational. “I have been going to Megalit for almost 2 years—I came from a strict weightlifting background w/ some boxing for cardio and I can say that these lagree classes are THE BEST workout. I have been able to maintain my physique w/o picking up a weight or having a boring, mundane workout at the gym. I will say, I push myself very hard and make the class extremely challenging by manipulating the resistance. You can make this class as easy or as difficult as you want, it’s up to you. Sean and Fab are my absolute favorite instructors—encouraging and radiate great energy. I have also taken Alex’s class and very much enjoyed it. My flexibility has improved as well as my balance. I have found that lagree has improved my ability in other sports (skiing and horseback riding). The music is fun and I always feel great (and exhausted) after a class. Don’t give up, keep showing up. It will be humbling at first. Highly recommend!”

“Miami Strength Club has changed my life!Rafael Cruz is an excellent coach. I wanted to mediate some orthopedic sports injuries by safely adding some muscle mass via the Starting Strength technique, which I learned of while living in New York, but could never afford.At my introductory training session, Rafa was able to pinpoint my strengths, weaknesses and level of athletic ability. The focus on proper form and the lifting program was spot on and I saw immediate improvement right out of the gate; in fact, I have put on more muscle in the last few months than I have over years of hitting the gym.
