A Creative Oasis. Igor is a real ‘Maestro’. His other art teachers are talented, patient & supportive. My painting & art creativity has blossomed. I have uncovered my own style under their intuitive guidance & encouragement. I highly recommend this art school to adults & children alike.

Terrible experience – avoid at all costs!
I had a truly awful experience with this kids club. My child would come home crying every single time. There were multiple occasions where he came back either scratched or with bite marks – completely unacceptable!
Even the mention of the place now makes him burst into tears, which says everything about how traumatic it was for him. It’s heartbreaking as a parent to see your child so distressed.
The management is absolutely terrible – unresponsive, dismissive, and completely unwilling to take responsibility or address any of the issues. I would never recommend this place to anyone who truly cares about their child’s well-being. Stay far away!

Sofia Art Academy helped my daughter prepare her art portfolio for auditions. I'm so glad my daughter successfully completed her audition, and received an acceptance letter...thanks to Sofia Art Academy.

I highly recommend them! My daughter has been attending their program for several years after school, and last year, they guided her in preparing her portfolio, and she was accepted into the magnet art high schools she applied to (DASH & New World). Their professionalism and dedication are truly exceptional. 🌼

I started with Sofia Art Academy 2 years ago with zero experience in painting my wife convinced me to go, I met Igor and in a very relaxed and comfortable teaching environment I did my very first painting of a sunset since then I drew my two dogs and a portrait of my wife, Igor is an awesome teacher, patient, thorough and knowledgeable, every time I come I leave with more knowledge and more confidence to draw, if you ever had the secret desire to try painting but never had the courage to actually do it, Sofia Art Academy and Igor will help you unleash talents you never knew you had, as it did for me, I highly recommend it!

Art class
I was looking for an art studio to learn and paint a piece based on an idea I have had for sometime.
I came across Sofia art academy in a google search.
I am glad I did. Under instruction by Igor, I steadily worked on my piece for two months. To be a great artist is one thing but to teach the art to newbies needs an even great skill, patience and Igor is all that. I learnt a lot about light, shadows, shades and color mixing.
Highly recommend this studio.

Sofia Art Academy is the best art school in Miami, and Igor is the best.
My daughter attended the clases here for a few years, and prepared for High School auditions. She’s been accepted to all three schools for which she auditioned - DASH, New World and MAC!!!

I would like to express my deep gratitude to the SOFIA ART ACADEMY school for preparing my daughter for the exams for admission to the magnet school DASH. In a short time, the head of the school, Igor, was able to teach my daughter the necessary skills, give her a hand, and prepare her mentally for the audition at the DASH school. As a result, we successfully passed the exams and were invited to study at DASH.

The SofiaArtAcademy is the best! Igor is an amazing teacher who provides the right amount of encouragement and structure to teach young kids the basics of classical drawing and painting. He helped my daughter prepare her portfolio and auditions for art high school applications in Miami-Dade. She got into all the art high schools magnets she applied to (DASH, New World, MAC) thanks to his help. This was the best investment we made on her education . The extra classes gave her confidence and helped her develop her potential.

My story with the Sofia Art Academy studio began a year ago when I decided to realize my old dream on canvas. The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere of creativity and inspiration that reigns here. Upon arrival, I felt this was the house where I could develop my artistic abilities.As a director and teacher, Igor is an outstanding artist and an excellent mentor. His professional skill and understanding of art is immensely inspiring. He has a unique gift for explaining complex concepts and techniques in a way that makes them accessible to even beginning students.I can work with various materials in the Sofia studio, such as acrylic paints, pencils, and watercolors.After a few months of training, I saw tremendous progress in my skills and became more confident in expressing my ideas on canvas. Studio "Sofia" gave me technical skills and faith in my artistic potential.I want to say a big thank you to the Sofia studio and Igor for an incredible journey into the world of art.This is the place where talent is born!
