It's definitely an older property you can see the wear. Still has stairs to drag your bags up. Also, the pool and bar areas are in need of refreshing/maintenance. We would give our stay a 5 out of 10, not terrible but not overly impressed. Be aware that the bars do not accept cash ? and the drinks are weak, so bring your own. No adult only pool.Safety: There are no issues with safety.

Extremely disappointed with our stay. We paid for a bay view suite, the "Bay view" is a tiny glance of water between buildings. Don't fall for paying more for this scam.We stayed in room 617. It was clean but in need of updating. Old fixtures are beyond the end of life. The lamps that are the only source of light are broken and glued together. The shower head barely puts out a spray of water. The little kitchenette is decrepit. Not what you'd expect from a luxury hotel. The room service tasted good and was delivered promptly.Service in general was good with the exception of the front desk. When I checked in the front desk held onto my driver's license accidentally. My entire stay I thought I lost my ID somewhere. When I checked out the front desk told me they had it. I asked why they didn't call the room to notify me. They said they did but the phone line didn't work... that's it. Add that to the list of things wrong with the room.Pool and beach were closed half our stay. Again staff was good but everything looks tired and in need of remodel.Worst part of the stay by far was the bed. Incredibly uncomfortable for both my wife and I. I'm 235lbs. She's 130lbs. We prefer different mattresses but both woke up with our lower backs hurting. The pillows are stiff and uncomfortable as well.Expectations were high. Stay was extremely disappointingRooms: In dire need of updatingNoteworthy details: A once high end hotel that now is in dire need of updating

When we did the reservation we where told that most likely at arrival time around 12:30 to 1pm they will have a room available even do check in time is 4pm so we where recive by a nasty young lady black hair didn't get her name that limit herself to answer check in is at 4 & we will call you when you're room is ready my wife ask her if she had any idea how long she again said 4oclok and left not even giving us directions for pool, restaurant no nothing nasty, then we came back at 3pm and same person again said nothing yet and left at 3:30 unfortunately same person nothing so i decide to check myself with a young fellow by the name of David from Mexico told me sir you're room is ready that was 1 minute after my wife check at 3:30 what a difference does one person makes. hotels shouldn't employ people with such attitude we the guest are the one's paying for your salaries & last but not least when we where leaving the valet guy even do was raining and the hotel has a roof to shelter decide to park our car right under the rain instead of leave the car in line with the others so we can get in under the roof but that was ok cause I had a $10 bill wich I decide not to give it to him save my money for another day & I will never return to that particular hotel.

Great hotel and very friendly employees. They truly take care of all the needs. The only thing was parking or lack there off. Valet only $44 a day if you pay at the front desk. They offered us $35 a day if you pay cash. But great location in the area.Noteworthy details: Plenty of restaurants within a 1 mile radius.

Nice size rooms, good quality food options in the building. The wifi signal is strong throughout the room. Pools and the beach are great. Having a washer/dryer in the suite is very convenient. Valet parking is a nice touch. Good plaza right across the street.Rooms: Good size, king bed and foldout couch made for plenty of sleeping space.Nearby activities: Located across the street from a CVS and a plaza with lots of stores. I don't recommend the argentine steak house across the street.Coffee hous in the plaza is great for a quick bite right across the street.Walkability: The strip is safe with beautiful resorts located in both directions.

Hotel is outdated, stupid expensive for all the amenities and on site food or beverage. Also when you check out they hit you with a $45/day resort fee. That is charging for pool towels, beach access, and beach chairs that are advertised as part of the package. That goes into your total and is charged a state tax and a sales tax. If you go off-site you are still charged that fee. They offer no airport shuttles so everything is an Uber, etc. The beach and pool bar close at 6pm which again is stupid. The staff was all extremely friendly. Tips are automatically added to all food and beverage. Doubt we will stay there again.

The room was very nice and clean, great service at the front desk, bar and restaurants in the hotel. Both pools are nice, plus there is a soccer / tennis court and arcade inside the hotel. Overall, it was a great experience.

Sheila, the pianist was a delightful experience. She was kind and let me perform for lobby guest. I got to sing with her and it was magical! Chantal, our stewardess was such an encouragment to me. Also the 2 red haired girls at the counter were very knowledgeable and down to earth and easy to have a conversation with. The emplyees are what have made our trip. These are just some of the many employees we talked to. But I really hope they are treated right because these are the people who are the heart beat to this hotel.

The hotel is filled with kids running around screaming and making a mess everywhere. Slightly unkept areas. Pool was decent except for all of the small kids under 10. The mens room next to the pool bar smells like someone died in there. No one has tried to fix the smell for three days. Not recommended for couples on a romantic vacation. The beach was good. Lounges provided because you pay a resort fee. As always, get to the beach early to get an umbrella and lounge chairs. Rooms are good. They need more elevators. The wait to get to our room was over five minutes. Went during Presidents weekend.Walkability: Walking distance to many restaurants, CVS and small shops in Sunny Isles.

Very outdated, the elevators work part time (there was a 30+ person line to get on one working elevator my first night)I was hoping the Trump brand would have been a much ore quality experience but this place was overall a complete letdown

Elevators are horrible every time we visit, busy or not. You would think that someone in the management would address the problem ?
