It’s a nice place to stay and the location is perfect but $2k per month with roaches is a bit much. Hopefully the new management and Terminex will make a difference.

Look at WHEN good reviews were written. You won't find many if any recently. The roofs in apartments and hallway have leaked HEAVILY on and off for years.Nonstop work and noise to patch but not fix these leaksElevators are 2 years overdo for inspection and often broken or randomly stop. Honestly feels scary riding themEveryone complains about roachesGate to parking broken 90% of timeEntrance doors broken 100% of time.Raise rent $250 ever year for 3 years straightNice area

Dear readers,I'm writing to share my decade-long residency experience at Marina Del Mar, a location that has been a part of my life for its proximity to the beach and my workplace. ?While cherishing the memories under the original ownership, I've noticed a shift in maintenance standards in our building , which is the oldest of three buildings.Roach issues persist, washers and dryers frequently malfunction, aging carpets emit unpleasant odors in common areas.Elevators outages , exercise equipment is old and most of them : treadmills , ecliptic and cycle machine don’t work, also AC breaks often. The once-heated pool ?♀️❄️ no longer maintains its temperature, and rent increases disproportionate ?Garage gates don’t work .This reflection is not meant to dwell on negatives but to encourage ongoing improvements.I believe in the potential for positive changes, maintaining the charm that drew me to Marina Del Mar in the first place. ?Warm regards,

I lived in Marina Del Mar for 10 years. Every year that passed it became worse. There is a ROACH INFESTATION in the building. It’s a great location but is not what it used to be. Not worth the price.

Roaches everywhere! I moved in 1 week ago and right on the first night I spent here I killed more than 30 roaches (no jokes) there's clearly and infestation on the unit that comes before me . So they can't blame on food or anything else. I have complained already and it seems they dont take this as an urgent matter as the property manager said. 7 days here and I wasnt able to use my kitchen and I have to sleep with the lights on the bedroom to avoid having them there. Unfortunally only in my bedroom I happen to find more than 10. I already spent more than $200 on killers and an I kill around 15 roaches per night. I have done videos and Property manager sent only Thursday the pest control here (since it had to be within THEIR schedule, not on the matter of the urgency) So again yesterday I encounter myself killing than 11 roaches ONLY in the kitchen. Manager was not on site to get the claim and again INFESTATION of ROACHES doesnt seem to be an urgent matter even though we are talking about more than almost 100 roaches so far. Completly sad and feeling deeply disrespected. Shame to have an apartment building with an amazing location to be poorly managed.

The views are great and the location is ideal but there are constantly issues. Absolutely zero security, pool, entrance ways and garage are always unlocked. Management is awful and literally impossible to get in touch with. The building is infested with roaches. The elevators last passed their inspections over two years ago and never work. Most weekends all three are shut down at the same time. It’s funny how management is unresponsive, doorman is useless, but god forbid you park your car temporarily not in a spot THEY WONT SKIP A BEAT before it’s towed day or night no ones safe even if you have a resident sticker. Must be their only source of income.

Just another day in the life at Marina Del Mar…one day after notifying residents that common area AC will be shut off, they sent us these emails… Maddening and hilarious at the same time.In one email, they are reminding all residents that blue bands must be present for residents to use the pool (which I’m a big fan of), and in the other they are notifying us the pool is not available for use.In one email, they provide strict instructions that we can only use our gym, which doesn’t even have a bench, while other buildings are free to use (what’s left of) our gym because they don’t even have one.Elevators don’t work. Roaches are everywhere. Management doesn’t respond. Secured garage is open to anyone. But than that, it’s paradise…

I have been living here for a month, and they stole my husband's wheelchair from the garage, we are very disappointed with what happened, we know that theft inside the garage is common here because they take a long time to fix the gates, since I arrived a month ago, the gates do not work, there are strange people entering the garage at dawn, this is disappointing, they

Moved in earlier this year so I’m fairly new but I’ve enjoyed the experience so far. The front office is so welcoming; the manager (Francesca) has been extremely courteous and hospitable since day one and she hasn’t missed a beat. The neighbors are kind and easy to engage with. The pool area is so peaceful and the views are one of a kind!

No security, no concierge services at night. Management keeps cutting services promised after you move in.Constantly raising rent rates significantly. Other than that it's all good.

An excellent place to live. Great location.Complex just got better with new manager Sonia, who sincerely treats this place as her home. All the office staff is very nice and helpful. It makes a big difference that lots of them live in a building - you can count on genuine care for community.

I have been living in Marina Del Mar for at least 4 years and it has been a great experience. About a year and a half ago or so, they stared remodeling the amenities and giving a make over to the building as well as the surrounding areas , in addition they built two beautiful buildings Marina Del Sol and Marina Del Mar and I have to admit that during the construction and remodeling time it was a little uncomfortable because of the noise and dust but now that everything is done and has been completed I can’t stress enough that it was all worth it. They have done a tremendous job! I truly ENJOY and love the new look and feel of this community. The staff is also great because they are always willing to help, they are all professionals, caring and committed.I hope to live in this community for many years to come!Kudos to Las Marinas!!!

We moved here in May 2021. We paid for the location and price at that time. Here is our positives and negatives of Marina Del Mar.Negatives:-Roaches, loads of roaches. They will tell you it's because you have pets. This is incorrect as I have spoke to many people with no pets in our building who live in older and newly renovated units, who have attested to having roaches infested in their kitchens and living rooms.-Parking lot gate inconsistencies. Every 1-2 months our gates to the parking structure do not work and they stay up. People who care about their vehicles safety and who chose to live at Marina Del Mar, assume to expect some consistency to the ever-so-changing gate issue arising.-Laundry units. They changed the units in the community laundry rooms on each floor recently. Ever since the changes the machines never work properly. Sometimes overflowing of water happens in the laundry room. Additionally, the pay scanner does not work on our floor from time to time. Moreso recently, in October one of the dryers pay scanners stopped working. I informed the office several times with no action or notice to the residents on our floor. You will also have some special folks in the building who like to pull the plug from the washing machine while you're using it for "fun" (I am assuming their version of fun). This isn't the offices problem or their fault, but I am letting you know what type of people live in this building.-Construction everywhere. When we moved in here in Mid-May 2021 we were informed at the time of signing that construction would take place through the end of summer 2021. Unfortunately for us, construction for our windows and sliding door wasn't completed until December 2021. We were not able to use our balcony at all during that time. Keep in mind we have an older unit. All we heard was loud construction the entire time because it was done in phases. We couldn't sleep in slightly late because of our work schedule. The additional noise on Saturday mornings super early was very unpleasant. In addition to more construction at the lobby took longer than expected, no shock there. They told us it would take the entire summer of 2022 but it was not until November 2022 when construction was finished.-Marina Del Mar is not luxury whether you have an older or newly renovated unit, so forget about it.Positives:-Views, views, & more views!-Location between Hollywood and Miami Beach-I think I forgot to mention, more views!-Pool is super nice

It’s a great place to live especially now with all the changes after the renovation… there’s only one issue that still needs to be addressed, the roach infestation that’s been going on for a long time ?

Now, I am only stating what happened to us in detail so take it for what it is worth. We have two cars and we parked next to each other on the 6th floor because it was very empty after the 5th floor. We are assigned parking spots as the leasing office provides you with your spot number. We thought it would be okay since the third party company who drives around in the parking structure knew me on a more friendly level. We received a text that one of our cars had to be moved to the respective parking spot. I went to the office to talk to a lady and stated I will move both vehicles to their respective parking spots. I asked her to give me until the evening to move the vehicles because I was about to have a virtual meeting to join. She gave me the okay. In addition, I requested to park one of my vehicles all the way on the 8th floor, and my request was granted by the lady. After my meeting had ended about two hours later, I go outside to walk my dogs and see one of my vehicles getting towed out of the parking structure. I immediately stopped the guy driving and explained the situation. I was confused how the office made the mistake of granting me the request but then seeing my vehicle get towed. I asked the gentleman to wait so I could get the lady from the office to assist me. I was lucky to run into her as I walked back into the building. She was able to assist me at that moment which I was grateful. However, the next day I walked into the office with the paper that said she was parked in the wrong spot. She has a transponder on her vehicle. The office usually texts residents if they parked in the wrong spot or if they can move their vehicle. We were texted the morning of the issue whe
