The place is very well located but the amount of obstacles they put in place is tremendous and they are a disaster.
To use the barbecue you have to leave a money order as a guarantee instead of asking for a check, then they tell you that you can use them until 10 pm and they cut off your electricity at 9:45
Without light you have to clean them to leave them in good condition.
The bathrooms on the 4th floor are a disaster
To enter the buildings you have to ask the Tenant to come down and open it since they do not know or do not want to program the phones of the new ones.
The security people have a terrible treatment of people as if it were a prison.
If you go as a visitor they charge you for parking
If you live there and your car is not in your name, they give you a permit that you have to renew every 30 days.
It's really a shame that such a good place treats people so badly.

Worst security guard Andres needs to go. Disrespect people will not make them respect you. Based on the ton of other reviews with your name on it, it's a big problem.
IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU EMAIL THE OFFICE ABOUT THE SECURITY GUARD PROBLEM TO REINFORCE THE COMMUNICATION.
THE OFFICE ALREADY HAS A COUPLE OF EMAILS ABOUT THE SECURITY BUT THEY NEED A BIT MORE TO GET THIS RESOLVED 100%.

Club houses managers don’t care about the building, less about security and forget about think or work for there residents or owners. LORAINE SHE IGNORED ALL MY EMAILS. Texts & phone calls. She has rude very unprofessional & allow security company to broke the rules and owners rights like: denied access to owner, denied the right to be picked up or dropped off from or at home. They NEVER CONTACT RESIDENTS FOR ACCESS AUTORIZATION WHEN VISITORS ARA COMMIG.
EVERYONE KNOWS THE TRAGEDY IN PLAZA - 05/2023 when that Angel little boy was killed. I have my doubts; if the Security person at the gate that date, at least try to contact the residents in their list and asked them if they AGREE to that person enter to visit them . Maybe yes or no.
The killer past true the gate in and out, he walked halls, elevator All w/cámaras and WHERE THE SECURITY WAS AT THAT TIME? I don’t know, I believe in the justices.
. We are suffering verbal abuse, stocking, discrimination a much more like other residents. PLEASE WE NEED HELP!! More than 10 email, a lot of messages to report all these issues. And nothing happened.
We have to bother and call the POLICE to be able to comeback home.
HELP ME BY REPORTING ALL YOUR ISSUES THERE. PLEASE.
ALLL of them, think about it, be honest and report them YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
DONT BE AFRAID. That’s the matter you’re status. YES DO IT.
For all the residents, how they deserve to be safe at home. And don’t forget that we paid for service that we are not getting.

I must express my utter disappointment with the management of Tower 2. My experience dealing with them has been nothing short of dreadful, and their lack of professionalism and sensitivity towards feedback is truly appalling.
First and foremost, the management team consistently displayed a complete disregard for residents' concerns and feedback. Whenever I attempted to raise issues regarding maintenance, security, or other important matters, they brushed off my concerns as if they were inconsequential. It is evident that they have no interest in actually addressing the problems that plague the building.
The level of disrespect exhibited by the management is disheartening. I have witnessed numerous instances where residents were treated with condescension and arrogance when voicing their grievances. Instead of attempting to understand and resolve issues, they adopt an offensive and dismissive attitude, leaving residents feeling frustrated and unheard.

Good nightTo whom it May concern:It is no secret to anyone that the first impression when we arrive at a destination is essential for good treatment, a courtesy greeting lets us know that we are in a pleasant place and brightens many of our days. On the contrary, if we are treated badly if we are asked questions without logic, the head of security, Mr. Andres, as I was able to find out on repeated occasions when I visited the premises, does not use the appropriate forms to address the public with meaningless questions at the time of entry. I don't live in Plaza of Americas building 2 but I have friends whom I visit and I want to show and capture my experience in this situation. I don't know what the functions of a security agent will be, but I am sure that because I am the first person The person who treats the visitor must give pleasant treatment, which is why I think that this man is not qualified for the job or at least that's what I think. It's a shame for such a nice place where many people live.

My name is Ray Daniel Pernia, I live in building 3 but this complaint is in general for all the Plaza American buildings. It is a complaint that is especially for the head of security, Andrez, very clearly, the man makes life miserable for all the tenants. The building in general believes that it can treat everyone however it wants, bad treatment towards everyone, even older ladies, everyone. I am tired of making complaints to the plaza management and no one does anything. Of course, it is in your best interest that Mr. Andres Take the cars to the tenants, it's all abuse towards people, enough of the abuse, Mr. Andres cannot continue mistreating the tenants of the square, it's all complaints about everyone, you have complaints, Mr. Andres, head of security, until when, what needs to be done so that Mr. Andre, don't mistreat the people who live in Plaza of America, let's stop the abuse all together.

Absolutely ridiculous management. Seems like they are going out of their way to make it as unpleasant and inconvenient as possible. Rude security and they charge for guest parking, honestly it has been getting worse here

I’ve lived here for 21 years and every year this building is becoming more and more of a bad place to live in. Almost all of my long time neighbors have moved away from Plaza because of the management. The abuse of power is increasing by the day. There was a time where living here was actually pleasant but unfortunately, the management is now constantly coming up with new ways of robbing tenants of their money- including increasing monthly maintenance fees without any kind of notice or explanation.There was a time where visitors/caretakers wouldn’t pay a single dollar to visit the residents of plaza. Then they started charging $3 for parking. Then they started charging $4. And now they have finally increased the parking fee to $5. THERE IS NO OTHER BUILDING IN SUNNY ISLES THAT CHARGES THEIR VISITORS FOR SELF PARKING. Not to mention that it is impossible to tell what the money they are robbing is being spent on. You never see anyone cleaning or doing anything to make the building a better place to live in. The gym has been closed for over 4 years.You leave your car accidentally parked in the guest parking lot and they will tow it. They aren’t courteous enough to call you (after 21 years of living here) and remind you to move your car because it is at risk of getting towed.Oh and it is guaranteed that any interaction with their new security guards will be extremely unpleasant. I am all for living in a place with good security but I will not stand for any sort of disrespect. You would think that they would at least be respectful towards the residents given that they are charging them for every breath they take within the property.Please don’t move here. If you are thinking of moving to sunny isles just know that this is the worst place to live in.

Be aware!!! My vehicle license plate was authorized to be parked in the parking lot. I removed the windshield sticker at 10:00 PM and I was moving out at 6:00 AM ( I didn't want to forget to returned the sticker to my roommate who was very adamant I give it back). I didn't think much about it and went to sleep.During that night my car got towed.Imagine, getting up early in the morning to go to the airport and not finding your car.I was legally parked in my spot. The security guard didn't check my license plate at all, or even tried to call me to see what happened. They simply find any excuse to tow your car.This building like many in Miami, the security guard is surely getting kick backs from the towing company.The towing company only wants cash to return your car.When I refuse to do so, they claimed the credit card machine wasn't working.Then they said, we need to fill out paperwork and made me wait 45 minutes and charge me extra money for not paying cash.Make sure you get your paperwork and complain to the management. Very quickly you will find out that they don't care.You have been warned.

It gets flooded a lot. Gym has been closed for like 3 years already (association "disappeared " the money they had from the insurance when the gym "got on fire") People leave garbage anywhere. Old apartments with extremely high prices.
