I have been coming to Bob’s for a few years and my family has been coming there for over a decade. I was decently satisfied with their service but now I will not be returning. I was in last week for a battery change and I brought my own battery. I made it clear the old battery was having issues leaking acid and was corroding the terminal. I paid 30$ to have them take care of the corrosion. After the service was concluded they left the old battery on the passenger floor. The battery leaked acid and ruined my mat. I called and asked if they could make it right by replacing the mat or by providing compensation but they declined. At the very least they could have made me aware that they would be putting a battery which was leaking acid on my floor so I could take precautions. Be aware Bob’s may not take responsibility for damages.Follow up: Not once did I tell anyone that I wanted an old leaking lead acid battery on my car floor. So that’s lie #1. I also did not leave it on my car floor all weekend. As soon as I realized it was there, I brought it in for disposal on Saturday morning. So that’s lie #2. If it’s my responsibility to dispose of the battery afterwords, then fine, but you should have consulted with me about what I wanted to do with it or left it off to the side for me to deal with when I picked up the car. If you can’t see how you are responsible for this, you shouldn’t be in business.

I've taken both my jeeps here. They were honest in telling me parts that needed to be taken care of right away, and what could wait a little longer. The rates are fair. I definitely recommend Bob's.Service: General repairs & maintenance

disappointed "I Have been taking my Automobile to this place for oilchanges and so on for about two years. This time around, I brought my Cardue to Battery issues, and an oil change ;when back to pick it up, and Nothinking I needed to double check their work, I drove off with my car; On theway back to my house, I noticed my Right fug light was hanging outside thesocket by cables, (same side the changed the battery from), oil changeindicator was never reset, it was still indicated I needed an oil change "", myspeedometer needle was not working, and the car was a mess. After tryingto talk to one of the agents, he did not accept any responsibility" for any ofthe issues, (which were not there before dropping my car off at their place),and no apologies were even given to me. After paying almost $400, for abattery change, they guy still charged me for running another "computerdiagnosis" on another issue my car had with ABS light sensor, $289 extra, hesaid It (probably will be fixed by changing the sensor, or "so I was told" ) ofcourse it didn't fix it, and instead of asking me to come back next day to fixthe needle (it was late), he told me I would be charged (again) for anothercomputer diagnosis, even though, he had already charged me twice beforefor that, I felt very taken advantage off, and totally mistreated. I wentsomewhere else, the diagnosis down payment I gave, was applied to fixingthe issue my car had, and at least after working in my car, they had papercarpets with a thankful message, for having come in. these people had no regards for me , and my car .

I asked my friend Terry Y where she takes her car for service. She said Bob's Automotive located in Sunrise. I'm taking a trip soon and wanted to make sure everything was working as it should be before I leave. I also have the low pressure light on and wanted to make sure about my tires. The gentleman who worked on my car explained about the light and what might have happened. I feel so relieved about it. If that isn't covered by Toyota I will definitely come back here. They are pleasant, honest and knowledgeable. They deserve 5 stars.

Post oil change I was trying to continue to support my local Automotive shop. Prices are not less expensive and customer service is definitely appreciative of the local community. I came in with a coupon from the local flyer ( not my first time here I've done my breaks and other repairs ) the front desk girl tells me they won't take my coupon that it's an error. I don't dispute it I just agree and put the coupon away and agree to wait and pay the regular price. I had a three hour drive here next day with family, when I to my destination I see the " check 'em missions light" which has never come on before in my car, I figured I'd not make it a priority. The next morning as I open my trunk I notice the trunk is full of oil. Putting two and two together I take my car to a local shop when the mechanic opens my hood we see the top was left off there's oil everywhere. I could've lost my car because of this. We call Bobs management so the mechanics can speak and understand eachother. The manager at Bobs asks that I come in for my refund and to be reimbursed for my new oil change that Thank God the new mechanic did not overcharge me for. I just met with the manager outside the shop since I keep Missing them the hours listed say open til 1 I showed up at 12:40 he says the hours listed are wrong and he can't help me unless I come during work hours which is hard for me being that I work after their closing time during the week. Showing absolutely no care for my issue with their major error, he accepts to take my number and have the owner Bill call me. I'm waiting on your call Bill. #dobetter #supportinglocalbusinessgonewrong

I recommend bobs to everyone I know. Family owned and operated! I trust them before anyone else especially a dealership. They never try to upsell. They have saved me money countless of times!Yes there may be a wait for your car so I always plan ahead. Either by getting picked up and dropped off once the car is ready, bringing my work into their waiting room with me, a book. To be honest it's never too long of a wait but they operate first come first serve and they definitely have their busy days as they are THE BEST OF THE BEST.
