The Store at Sawgrass Mills, doesn’t carry many items. If you live in Ft. Lauderdale, you have to drive all of your way to their Store at the Aventura Mall in Miami. I won’t go near Miami without a Gun. You will very likely be Mugged, or worse in Miami. Ft. Lauderdale is not as bad. I have lived in Ft. Lauderdale for 27 years, and I have had 3 attempts to Mug, or possibly Knife or Murder me. I always show a little of my Pistol, and these Criminals run away like crazy!!

We visited this store to get my husband some new work shirts. No one greeted us, said hello, or asked us if we needed any assistance and I saw at least 8 people working. When we started browsing I picked up a folded shirt and immediately was told that there are some with the same material/sizing hanging up. I started to fold up the shirt and placed it back on the pile. She then proceeded to quickly hand the ENTIRE stack of shirt’s to another associate like I had just ruined the entire pile. When we had found a color that my husband liked she proceeded to pick up the stack to find his size. I felt like she didn’t want anyone touching anything in the store. It was very uncomfortable and I felt like we were not welcome in there at all. Which we shop at brooks brothers all the time at the Palm Beach Outlets with way better customer service. We went to Nordstrom Rack and found so many nice Brooks Brother’s shirts that I was half tempted to take back what we had bought in the store. I guess if you want an associate to talk to you at this location just pick up a folded shirt… they will speak to you just not in a nice tone.

Deeply Disappointing Experience at Brooks Brothers – Sawgrass Mills
Today I visited the Brooks Brothers store at Sawgrass Mills for the second time, and I can confidently say it will be my last. I have been a consistent customer of the brand and already own multiple items — from suits and dress pants to shirts and jackets. I know my exact size, and I don’t need help confirming it.
During my visit, I selected several shirts and asked for assistance. The associate recommended the Regular fit (not Slim), and helped me choose the appropriate sizes. When I went to the fitting room to try them on, I was stopped and told that before I could try any of the shirts I had chosen, I first had to try on a generic sample shirt to “confirm the fit” because the others were packaged.
I politely explained that I already know my size and want to try on the specific shirts I picked out — but was dismissed and told “that’s not how it works.” The tone and treatment were condescending and made me feel as if I wasn’t welcome — as though I was being judged by my appearance or assumed to be an inconvenience.
This was not just poor customer service — it was offensive. I won’t be returning to that store, and frankly, I’m reconsidering my support of the Brooks Brothers brand as a whole. No customer should be treated with such a lack of basic respect.
I will no longer wear a brand that treats loyal clients this way. Respect must be mutual — and this experience proved that Brooks Brothers has lost sight of that.

I was in this store March 11th. I approached two store employes with a question and neither one understood my question. They didn't understand english. When they did reply I couldn't understand them because they could speak english well.Shame on managment for allowing employees on the sales floor when it's clear they can't communcate in english.I expected better service from a company that has been around a long time. At one time customer service was important. Nowthe company doesn't seem to care.
