“St. Philomena’s Church is one of the iconic landmarks of Mysore. The neo-gothic architecture is breathtaking, especially the tall twin spires that can be seen from a distance. Inside, the stained-glass windows and high ceilings add to its beauty. It’s not only a place of worship but also a heritage site that reflects Mysore’s rich cultural blend. Very peaceful and well-maintained — a must-visit for anyone coming to Mysore.”

“This review is for the church thrift store open on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Saturday's from 10 AM until 1PM in a trailer on the back church property. Proceeds from the thrift store benefits the church mission programs like Hope Women's Center and Blessings in a Backpack which provides food insecure local elementary students with food every weekend. Thankfully the trailer was air conditioned. There are three rooms with men's, women's, and children's clothing, toys, household goods, and small appliances. There wasn't a huge amount of stuff but what they had was well organized and clearly marked. They even had some free bins as you walked in. Note that they are cash only. I ended up purchasing a decorative urn for only $5. I am going to try my hand at flower arranging with it. I would definitely stop in here again and there are a number of other thrift stores in the area as well.”

“UPDATE** A year in a church where I thought I found family, friends, my spiritual walk with those who could keep me accountable. The thing with these big “mega” wanna be churches is — the ones who serve behind it.

You cannot be a Christian with liberal ideologies and with unrighteous morals. People know what happens behinds closed doors and remain quiet, turn the blind eye.

I don’t think God lurks in those walls and the holy spirit isn’t moving there. Rally? Filled with young adults that leave those events and the next day are doing what they ask for forgiveness on a Sunday morning for. Use discernment friends, God doesn’t like imposters and injustice. I pray for those hypocrites that warm up a seat on a Sunday and by Monday morning the mask comes off. Godspeed.

I come from potential church and this was extremely different and aligned with my journey and where I am supposed to be. I am so happy I found a new home church and my children loved it! I cannot wait to serve in ministry with these lovely people!”

“This is my daughter’s second year at St Paul and we couldn’t be more grateful. My daughter comes home happy each day. Her teachers have been loving, kind, and caring towards her. She has had the opportunity to make friends, play, and learn. It’s a Christ centered, small, nurturing, family like environment that is safe and warm. I love that my daughter still gets to be a kid and there isn’t extreme academy pressure like other schools. Nonetheless. My daughter has grown academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. She is more than prepared for kinder. We feel at peace when we drop her off . We get photos from an app. , there are wonderful activities. Each child is more than a number . They are a priority.”

“I went to Sunday school here. I love Jesus. I was baptized and I did my first communion here... I was a kid when I used to go to the funds raiser public fair I still remember the remember walking that Circle it was the coolest right and the chocolate donuts with coffee in the cafeteria. “I had driven by this Chevron and, from the street, it looked like a good station that I might want to start using. I couldn't find it on Google Maps in order to check the price. When I got to the pump I found out that the price is 10 cents per gallon more than the station that I regularly use. Therefore I won't use this station anymore.”
