I have been with space Coast credit union since the were Eastern Financial credit union, however after over 30 years of banking here I opened up other accounts at other banks and after this weekend’s comment from the teller in the drive thru my husband and I had enough! It’s ridiculous how slow they are it takes a minimum of an hour every time I sit in the drive thru and when I said something about it. The teller told me I should go to a Margate branch location. He was extremely slow and extremely rude. No I won’t be going to the margate branch or any other branch after banking with this institution for well over 30 years And longer than most of the tellers have been alive, my husband and I will be closing our accounts @ space coast since I have already opened accounts in other banks and I have been happier with my new banks of the last 4 years and now will be closing out my accounts at space coast credit union. This credit union used to be good but was always slow now it’s a dreaded nightmare dealing with them because now they are not only slow but the young guy in the drive through is rude as hell and has forced us to go in Monday and close our accounts. Don’t waist your time banking here! This drive thru is the absolute worst and the slowest! 5 cars ahead of me and it took over an hour in the drive thru. I have never sat in the drive through longer than 15-20 minutes at my other banks no matter what time or what day. I physically get sick knowing I have to go to the drive through @ Space Coast credit union. There is no reason and no excuse for the lack of respect and the extremely slow assistance! This financial institution is a big Fail!

Fraud Alert.I asked for a follow as my profile was compromised and the person called the bank to have my profile changed. They reset my password via their customer service which allowed someone to access my account. I had to ask for my account info to be changed. They only wanted me to change my username. I even asked for a follow up to be done and for me to receive a call. No call. No communication. Nothing. Sad story when I was there someone else was going through the same thing and even worse because it happened to her 3 times that month. What are the odds. There was sense of care for your personal data safety. Do not bank here.

Just left my bank to deposit a check from truist. I was in and out in 3-4 minutes I love my bank and it’s always a pleasure weather it from the drive through on walk in. Kudos Space Coast Credit Union on your Excellent Customer Care

I went to the bank this morning to deposit 2904.02, with the 4 dollars being in change, mostly in quarters, dude at the teller told me that he will not accept the change, will only accept the 2900 dollar’s in cash ?, I told him give me my money back. I went to a different location and was able to make the deposit.

Is customer service not standard at banks anymore? If so, someone needs to provide proper coaching to the staff at Space Coast Credit Union.I don’t take pride in writing this review, especially towards the people of the same skin tone, but right is right and wrong is wrong.Today, 4/24/22 at 12:45, I lead my sister to this branch at 7751 W Oakland Park Blvd Sunrise, FL 33351 in pursuit to help her gain the knowledge about the benefits of joining a credit union bank.Upon her arrival, she noticed that the front desk was vacant and patiently waited to be addressed since she was the only customer in the branch at that time.Let me also mention that I personally was on the phone with my sister, so I advised her to speak up and ask for help.Boy, I was taken back by the response she received.I heard someone shout, “Sweetie you need to get in line!”, in a rude manner as is she was irritated by my sister asking if she can be helped while all the staff members that were currently there just stared at her as if they were puzzled by her presence.Of course my sister left immediately because of that tone.That should not be how you address any customer, let alone a potential one.It’s simple unacceptable.

Lantoinette is the most inconsiderate, rude, nasty customer service manager that I have come across. All of the associates I have dealt with lately have been super nasty and rude. I will closing my Space Coast credit and debit cards in search for a more customer-friendly bank. Do better space coast.

I went to finance my car, they were not helpful! Terrible service! Lack of correct information! They damaged my good credit in 40 points down because they didn’t give me the right information! The manager called Brook very rude, has the worst team! Tellers and bankers very basics in customer service! Very dissatisfied! I regret to choose this institution!

My name is Dreanna. I am/was customer of Space Coast and I am very unsatisfied with the level of customer service, I have been receiving. I have gone through great lengths to find your email address just to express my feelings. What I thought was a good bank who valued customer ended up being the worse experience of my life. I booked a airbnb for a birthday trip and noticed that it wasn’t going to be a good fit based on the review and pictures from previous guests, so i contacted the merchant to cancel my reservation. They only refunded half of what i paid $1,786.00 for because of their cancellation rules. I then reached out to airbnb support who told me that a full refund would have to come from my bank. I then contacted space coast to open my first claim ever since having an account and it was denied as they sided with the merchant. I’ve called almost every day since then and been chatted online for an appeal and i always get told that “we have a high call volume. Someone will call you soon.” I finally got a call back today and was told nothing can be done!!! This frustrates me so much because 1) space coast is not living up to their value statement and making me feel like the valued customer they claim. 2) almost $700 of my hard earned working money gone to waste with no remorse from airbnb or my bank that i TRUSTED!! I have moved all my money and solely bank with navy federal. My space coast account is only active because of the credit card o have opened (which i paid off & don’t plan on using anymore). This has by far been the the most horrible experience ever and I wish to take legal matters. My account has never gone in the negatives or anything else bad while being a member of sccu. This has really left a bad impression on me and I’ll be sure to tell everyone else.

This is the 3rd time my mother or I have made a cash deposit at this bank, specifically Pine Island Branch and Oakland park branch in Sunrise, and deposit mysteriously don’t show up due to the teller either putting on wrong account on purpose, or hoping the client doesn’t catch the mistake. And when you call they all act like you are the problem and rudely hang up the call on you. I will file several complaints with the state with proof that this bank and employees are up to no good and are some of the most disrespectful human beings i’ve ever encountered in banking.

Will be closing my account with this bank. Literally their atm rob me of my money and when I filed a claim the denied it saying nothing was wrong with their machine. However I did get a receipt from that atm saying they could not return the money due to technical issues. So why did my claim get denied? Even though it wasn't a large amount of money but it's my hard earned money and I want it back

Honestly their customer service is great from both me and my friend whom referred them. However I applied for a specific vehicle after being pre approved without a vehicle in mind and found one cheaper than my pre-approval. I called being denied and said it was due to the vehicle that it was denied. The used car market is completely on fire and I don't believe their adjustments are nearly correct and I can tell you since it was a 2007 nissan 350z and I'm a nissan technician that it was pretty good deal. My friend recommended them a few years back getting approval for more than 2.5x that value with about the same credit. So good people, bad business for sight.

Be wary of what they tell you prior to submitting an application for any of their products. Very poor experience and waste of time. They could have been more upfront in their valuation process and needing approval to order an appraisal rather than relying on automated values which can be highly inaccurate.
