They took great care of my sick dog, they figured out what was wrong and treated her accordingly until she was completely fine. They also got in touch with me afterwards to check how she was doing. Also easy communication with the doctor all the time

Enormous gratitude to Sunset Animal Hospital for the outstanding care they provided to my sick cat. Their expertise, compassion, and attentiveness made a world of difference during a challenging time. My cat is now thriving, and I can't thank Dr. Polit enough for her dedication to animal health. Highly recommend their services to all pet owners.

Went back again for my Dogs vaccines and check up. Front desk is very helpful. Dr. Polit and staff really care for your pets. Yes at times it is busy but I would rather Dr. Polit take her time and answer questions. 8 years going and won't stop.

Slow service. Unprofessional, chaotic, young, and disorganized vet techs— the two of them kept leaving the exam room to service other patients, repeatedly called my male cat “she” despite correction, and told me incorrect information about pricing and procedures. The vet techs didn’t even weigh my kitten, feel his body/bones, take basic vitals, or do anything remotely showing their care… the only thing they were interested in was petting him and offering prices for their microchip, vaccine, and lab packages. $80 for microchip? My kitten was not SEEN or TOUCHED by the Vet in the 30 minutes I spent waiting in the examination room.I do not recommend this vet for your pet.The only professional in the building was the front desk girl, who was polite and kind.

The staff at Sunset Animal Hospital are all kind and caring people. They always make me feel comfortable and are there to answer all my questions. I always feel that they take the time to discuss everything with me and not just rush me out of the office. Dr. Polit is very gentle and loving to my maltipoo Laci, who loves her.

Don’t bring your pets here. I have tried countless times to give this vet a chance but they are liars and gold diggers. My mom took my pet to check for an ear infection. She had copious black discharge from her ear as seen in the picture and I was worried. My pet was taken away from my mom to be treated behind doors. My mom was told she did not have an ear infection and what she needed was a $347 allergy shot that lasted 5-6 weeks. My mother called me during the appointment and I spiked with whoever was on the line and I was also told she did not have an infection and the the allergy shot was the best and most affordable option for her allergies. They mentioned that there was also pills but never mentioned the price. When asked, they told us that the pills were $53 for 14 weeks. When you do the math, that is not cheaper. After my dog got home I checked her ear and it was getting worse. So I called them because I knew there was no way they did a swab and it came back negative. During my first call I was told that no swab was done. They redirected me to the vet who told me that she indeed did have an infection by that it was caused by allergies. I asked why my dog was allowed to be sent home without any treatment and they simply said that we denied it. This is false. We came in for her to be checked for an ear infection and we’re SEEKING treatment for only that. We were told she did not have an ear infection when in fact she did. Now my dog is still untreated, but I will be taking her elsewhere. This whole experience is unbelievable.
