I would give We Florida Financial a negative rating if possible. Their level of incompetence, lack of customer service, and misleading communication are unacceptable.
Their automated telephone system does not offer a clear option to speak to a live representative, and when it does, customers are left on hold for hours. This is extremely frustrating, especially for those who have limited time during the day to resolve banking matters.
I have been a loyal customer of this institution since 1988 when it was known as City County Credit Union (CCCU). However, since the transition to We Florida Financial, the quality of service has drastically declined. It is no longer the reliable credit union it once was.
Due to the poor service, I have transferred all my investments elsewhere and have only kept the minimum balance necessary to cover a current loan. Once this loan is paid off, I will no longer do business with We Florida Financial — and I strongly advise others to avoid them as well.
It is unacceptable that customers, who already have busy work schedules, are expected to endure lengthy hold times without compensation. Meanwhile, their employees are earning $25 per hour to provide subpar service. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I would recommend banking elsewhere.

The customer service is great but the bank itself is so sketchy. they don't let you pay more than 1000 per week against a loan- they also charge you fees if accounts are left dormant. if you open a loan with them, they will automatically open other accounts as well- it's in the fine print. then, they will charge you $10/mo for existence of this account. ppl like to say credit unions are better than big banks but to me, they're always so sketchy.

I've been with this bank for many years and then had to move to Georgia 2 yrs ago.
I used to think that We Fla was a great bank. However, my ONLY credit card was compromised 2 days before I was to come to FL for my father's funeral.
Visa themselves were awesome and compassionate for my situation and sent a request to We Fla for an emergency Visa card so I can make it to the funeral. We Fla denied me causing me to not be able to say goodbye to my father. This made absolutely no sense and devastated me to no end.
I do not understand why I was denied an emergency Visa.
If it wasn't for my father's passing, I wouldn't have cared but this was an absolute true emergency.
I've never missed a payment and my credit is in excellent standing so that's not an excuse.
Over the years, I have referred friends of mine who have gotten their accounts at this Bank. I have informed them of what We Fla did. They have since moved their accounts elsewhere in fear the same thing would happen to them.
This was a horrible action on We Fla's part and I will never trust this Bank nor would I recommend them ever again!! The damage they have caused to my heart is unrepairable and downright cruel!

I got a call from Gayann. She was very sympathetic to the situation and has since corrected this so that it can never happen again to anyone else. I appreciate her time in investigating the situation and ensuring that they will be there for us in need.

I needed to both close & open accounts, as well as renew a CD. I sat with the Asst Branch Mgr in the Sunrise branch. She is both knowledgeable & friendly and she made the process quick & efficient!

Great lease buyout experience with Orlando at We Florida Financial Credit Union. The loan application was processed and approved in a timely manner with the dealer check issued the next day. I highly recommend We Florida Financial for a car purchase.

What a JOKE of a Credit Union. I can't make a payment online because THEY changed their system. You can't reach a "live" rep ever! Then they hit you with late Fees because you couldn't make a payment because of their Mickey-Mouse operation! STAY AWAY from these clowns!

Terrible communication and bad service. No one answers the phone after being on hold and they will send you bill to collections without letting you even know you have a payment due. Don't bank here please.
