Dr. Lacey helped both our horses. Upper respiratory infections instead of putting on steroids, as another vet recommended, she correctly diagnosed allergy tests and shots! The steroids would have been detrimental to them both. She saved their lives! Thank you great horse vet!

I called the emergency line as just some random person with a horse that has never been seen by AVS. Dr. Lacey immediately called me back and headed over. My horse was having some sort of allergic reaction, and she got here quickly. He's new to where he is and timid around strangers, but she put him (and me) at ease! She treated him quickly and effectively while dealing with my stress as a first time horse mom too. I can't say enough great things about her. I'll definitely be using them regularly. I absolutely love this place. Dr Lacy is amazing. I am really impressed on how well she really cares about my horse and explained everything to me so I understand. Also she refers you to another vet if she believes they couldn't fix the issue due to the severity of it. I would refer anybody to go see Dr Lacy and have their horse get chiropractic treatment. My horse was in very bad shape and she made him feel so much better. The staff at this facility are kind, friendly and caring.

Dr. Lacey is wonderful. My mare had a tick on her bottom eyelid that she wouldn’t let me get to. Dr. Lacey came the next morning, administered a light sedation and quickly removed that nasty little bug. Then she checked her all over for any more. She’s a gem.

I adore this clinic. I love all the staff, Dr. Fisch is amazing and so is Dr. Lacey. I drive an hour and a half to use them. Excellent, clean facility.

My 6 month old foal has been sick since I got her from Texas (7 weeks)…she needed to have an upper airway scope. Dr Lacey and the staff were wonderful and very Caring and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend AVS. The facility is immaculate and 5 star service. The staff were all amazing. They even helped load my baby who I think wanted to stay!

Very nice facility. Excellent staff who addressed my concerns promptly and was very professional and thorough. Was recommended by a veterinary professional and its easy to see why. Definitely recommend and will use this equine veterinarian again. Thank you so much for your compassion, it shines through and is hard to find in the equine veterinary field now days

I moved to Tallahassee about a year ago and AVS came to my rescue in the middle of the night when I couldn't get another veterinarian out. My horse and I are grateful that we found AVS Equine and I wouldn't trust his care with any other practice.

We had a big scary emergency and our current vet was unable to get to us. She referred us to AVS and we couldn’t be more impressed with doctor Lacey and Kaylen. The facility is beautiful and accessible. The customer is stellar and the treatment was meticulous and kind. I’m so thankful for the quick action of Dr Lacey and Kaylen helping my baby feel better. I recommend them 100%.

I am an owner of a very old family pet horse named Cheyenne. Dr.Fische came to her rescue twice when we absolutely needed him. He made her comfortable and calm. AVS was exceptional in caring and treating my foal when it was born with multiple issues. Everything turned out great. I have used them for multiple reproductive procedures and would highly recommend them.
