Went in friday during off-hours to open a joint account with my wife and deposit several thousand in wedding gifts. Was told they don't have time/people to do that and they recommended the online app since my wife has her personal account through BoA. Utilized the tellers (only 2 were on sight) to deposit some funds in my wife's personal account.We created the joint account through the online app. However, I have no way to log in as a joint account holder since I don't have my PIN number (which is assigned during card issue, which has to be mailed through snail-mail).Save yourself the hassle of corporate inefficiency from BoA and go with a local credit union that will give better service (and loan rates). BoA may market their online phone app, but even if it did work, it's not worth the deficiency in every other aspect of their service. When I opened a new account at Envision, and FSU CU on a separate occasion, I was given service immediately in person. They may not have fancy phone apps, but everything is accessible from normal computers/internet browsers, and with faster service.

I don't usually use the lobby but I've used it twice n the last week I've used it twice. The one thing that's kinda cool is standing in line u never have enough time to fill out a deposit slip! I've been a customer with them for 15 years & wouldn't change banks for anything! First rate customer service is the best, whether in person or on the phone at the toll-free number.

Kejar Butler was wonderful! Answered all the questions I had that I couldn’t find online. Recommended great services and helped me set all my services up. I spent an entire day looking and talking with different banks and by far Kejar was the best and helped reassure me I made the right choice banking with BofA.

Customer service, no drive thru, 1 teller at lunch, 5 people in line, and picking up foreign currency and the person that has the combination for the drawer is out to lunch! ?

Putting money to this bank is a pain. I came in to deposit cash (i don't do a lot) i didn't write the whole account number on the deposit slip and asked her if she can locate by phone or name and showed her my ID. She asked for social sec # (i hate giving ss#). She said she will shred it. I'm worried about how secure they are as the teller tear the paper with her hand and throw it in the trash bin which is shocking. THEY CANT AFFORD A SECURE SHREDDER? I have decided to switch bank..

Worst bank ever, they charge accounts that should not be charged (ie son/minor social security account with auto deposit) MONTHLY, I do believe this is illegal. My husband went to DEPOSIT check into the account last week and they told him he can't deposit checks, only cash. He went back today to DEPOSIT CASH & was told he can't deposit that either. My account has been taken over TWICE and I didn't get reimbursed until 1 YEAR LATER and they charged my account 100's of dollars during BOTH catastrophes and I was never refunded those fees. If it was simple to change social security deposits to a different bank, I would do it in a heart beat and this is coming from someone who was in banking for 20+ years.

Try not to go on a Monday. I do online banking but today I needed a cashiers check. The teller at the window was very snappy with the customer in front of me and with me also. He had a really long beard and the mask over it so it must be pretty difficult to breath. He had no help. There were five other employees working in their cubicles. They need to be cross trained so that when the lines get long at closing time they should just be able to jump in and assist. We do that at our agency. Customers comes first. Would not be going to that branch again. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt due to the pandemic. ?

0 Star to this BOA branch, waiting for entire day to collect one document which was sent via FAX by BOA associate. The Branch couldn't find out why the fax is not received. Branch employees just saying "if BOA associate sending it and we are not receiving it then we are not receiving it." They not even checking if the FAX machine is working or not.Finally went to another Thomasville BOA branch and received fax within 2 minutes.Worst customer Service.
