Bicycle House Tallahassee is a 501c3 service organization and a staple of the community. It provides bicycles and ongoing repair service to people in need, handling each customer on a case-by-case basis. The place is spotless and filled with beautiful repaired bikes and helmets available for qualified applicants. They have every tool imaginable to repair or rebuild a bicycle, and parts storages aplenty thanks to community donations. With a combination of everybody’s mechanical knowledge, basically any bike can be repaired here. The organization is run by kind people volunteering their time. Everybody is incredibly friendly, patient, and very open to showing how to fix things or how to use certain tools. They offer volunteer opportunities, bike repair, and bike safety education, welcoming people of all ages. They also have a few rooms to board in for long-range bicyclists. This beautiful non-profit operates so no one here is getting paid and no one here is getting charged, ensuring those who need transportation have it. It is what community is all about: people helping people.
Good people, lots of donated bikes that are there for those needing transportation to get back on their way.

Most helpful, friendly, knowledgeable place anywhere. Most frugal nonprofit ever...recycling 1,000 bikes college kids abandon. Sadly they have to move every few years sine don't own a building.

Thank you for your help with my Hard Rock! I appreciate the patience and assistance of everyone who helped to walk me through fixing my derailleur and teaching me how to take care of my bike before I moved from the state.
