“Stopped over at Joe’s after being treated very poorly at the great bicycle shop nearby. I am a local veteran who had just gotten a bike donated to him. And was out on my first ride and I accidentally bent my derailleur. So I search a local shop with good reviews. So I figured a local shop interested in serving their community could possibly help me find a bolt or help me straighten out my derailer. I wasn’t asking anything for free. The words from the lady word that we do not service. “ China, bike bikes” Paid me lip service by leaving me outside In the parking lot for 20 minutes. I wasn’t even invited into their shop. I’m not sure if they’re prejudice against me or my bike. But they left a very sour taste in my mouth. So I limped my bike over to Joe’s and he quickly And warmly greeted me. Asked me what issues I had and within a few minutes had a bolt that would fix my issue free of charge. Whatever happened to a good local service. It would seem that too many small shops believe they can treat customers like large corporations. I 100% would recommend Joe’s over them. Just go to Joe’s! You could see on the photo. I just needed a small washer and a 10 mm bolt. Which I would’ve happily paid for. The great bicycle shop is not so great”
