Why can’t anyone pick up the phone or response to an email? 2 months with fees already paid but can’t get an approval for testing. It’s ridiculous

I've had the same experience as all the other 1-star reviews. Just bad, I wish they could get this fixed. I can't get a hold of anyone.

Utterly useless trying to contact these people God forbid you have a question. If you're lucky enough to get a response, chances are they won't know how to help you.
And I'm just confused as to why your agents direct people to an email that doesn't respond?
Edit: I've been given the wrong information several times. Unacceptable, hire people who know what they're talking about.

One of the worst government institutions in the state of Florida. Calling them is pointless. Whoever is in charge, should be fired. Hire adequate and responsible personnel.

I wish we were able to just write our reviews without giving star .I just waited 47 minutes on the phone just to hear “ there isn’t no one to answer your call now , try later “. This is a disgrace .10/2/24

This board deserves -10 stars. I have called over 20 times in the past ~2 years to get licensed in the state of Florida. I have been a practicing pharmacist for 5 years now. Never have I, in my home state of PA, experienced such an absence of services for such an important process in a Pharmacist's career. 1) They do not pick up the phone. The longest wait time I have had was 2 hours, I hung up because I could not wait any longer. I have sent emails which have not been answered thoroughly and accurately. 2) They essentially have only 1 worker taking care of all the phones for both Pharmacy and Dentistry, and they do not understand the process of licensing and exactly what is required to get licensed in a certain state. They are of no help. 3) There are no alternative phone numbers or email addresses to contact to receive higher quality support. 4) The MQA website for license application is an absolute disaster: it does not show ANY of the documents you have uploaded, doesn't show any documents that were sent from your Alma Mater or state board (which are both required for your license application). 5) The application fees are very pricey, they are very quick to process your payments but do not respond to inquiries you may have in regards to completing your application. 6) They fail to mention to you that your application expires within a year from starting it. This is the case for my application which will be expiring after numerous payments to both the Florida Board of Pharmacy as well as to NABP.
Overall, this is a failed institution that severely disservices Pharmacy graduates nationwide who simply want to get a job in their state. I am strongly reconsidering my move to Florida solely due to this one disaster that is the Florida State Board of Pharmacy.

Been trying to reach anyone, someone for an update about my application due to either a delay in response or a mistake. I called and after 20 mins, they hang up on me mid sentence. They don't respond to any emails, even if they're labeled as a representative.

Would give zero stars if possible. The worst experience. They will not answer a phone. Be warned they have an old email address on the pharmacist application so when your pharmacy school and former employers are sending the required documents over directly it will go to an email address that no one is monitoring. When you upload required documents like CE, even directly from NABP, it has to be in a particular format or they will not accept it. They will not tell you why it is wrong until you are able to get a hold of them and press them on the issue. Terrible.

I am very disappointed with this Board. They are very irresponsible and do not communicate effectively. I have been dealing with them since July this year, trying to get my license and have gotten no where. They have quite an alarming amount of rude people working there and never reach out when you've asked for help. They have given me the wrong information multiple times and have me running in circles. This is a mockery of the people who actually work hard in their positions in pharmacies around Florida.

If I would be able to rate this with a CERO, I will do it. 2.5 hours waiting was passed too long. Very quick to cashed the check. It is been almost 2 months and I still without my license. You guys should closed operations, you just stealing money from people and no service at all. Shame on yourselves!!

I have been trying to call since March '20 and not a single answer, i just moved here a few weeks ago and attempted to call on the drive to FL and nothing since being here and trying several more time I was on hold anywhere from an hour and a half to five hours before I had to hang up. I have sent several emails and no response. I even asked a local pharmacy and they said I would have better luck traveling to another near by state that only one person works at the board and they are awful. I need to transfer my license and have questions I need answered. The FL board is very unprofessional.

I have been calling since Friday and no one have returned my calls nor voicemails. I don't want to make a trip to Florida until I move. I've been trying to transfer my license from MS to FL. IT seems as if I need to stay where I'm at since they are ignoring me. THIS IS NOT HOW THE BOARD SUPPOSE TO OPERATE!!!!!
