“The team at the TLH Airport location are amazing and customer service driven. The vehicle selection is VERY LIMITED. I rented an SUV but got Jeep Wrangler. Giving a Jeep Wrangler is NOT for the typical driver. I found it difficult and unsafe to drive as I had to work two (2) gear shifts to get it to not slip on the wet roads in Tallahassee FL. Plus getting in/out required a HUGE step up. I truly appreciate the agents on duty who worked to exchange my vehicle despite the very very limited number vehicles at the airport and no reciprocal relationship with off airport Hertz locations to exchange vehicles with ... this is insane to me. They got me into another vehicle after returning to the airport a bit later.
Sadly, Hertz had the nerve to charge me a FUEL CHARGE for the inconvenience of having to return to the airport later when more cars were expected to be returned.
If it weren't for the agents who helped me this would have been a 1-star rating.”
“The lady gave us a county discount told us to bring iD when we came back the rate changed. Then 2 days later they bill for the insurance instead of putting everything together when we brought the car in! But car was great”
