I write this at 12:50am as I listen to music coming from the club next door. It is LOUD! So loud that Marriott should include a disclaimer when reserving that you will NOT be able to sleep until after the club closes. My bathroom was not clean at check in however the staff was immediately responsive. The initial appearance of the hotel is decent but upon closer inspection, floors, glass, baseboards, etc. need a deep, deep cleaning. But, none of this really matters. Why stay here if you cannot sleep?

Older and smelly rooms. Crazy long walk to my room. Not a property I would go back

Front desk staff both check in and check out were fantastic! Nicest hotel I’ve stayed in quite a while! Very clean, comfortable beds, all around great experience!! We’ll definitely be back!

Preface - I don't travel a lot for work, but I travel enough and know that each particular hotel, no matter what brand, has its own little perks and amenities to look forward to. Saying that, I have certain expectations for each said lodging.Rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The lobby was clean and in order also. The pool area looked incredible. I didn't use the gym or business center.Walls were thin and there was an inch and half gap in the door, so I heard the staff and guests coming and goings. My favorite was when house keeping was vacuuming at 945PM, that was awesome. The front desk was ok at best, as they were so engrossed with their cell phones at all times. The dining area was clean and the avocado toast was very good. Servers were friendly also. The Cafe was closed after breakfast everyday I was there. I don't know if that's standard practice, but that is the reason I actually chose this hotel. Not because the food is amazing, but for the convenience of having food available and not having to go out to eat after working 11 hours. That's the expectation from other Courtyards I've stayed.Plenty of parking and shopping within 5-10 min walk.Rooms: Clean and comfyWalkability: Businesses within 5-10 minutesFood & drinks: Cafe open for breakfast only

This was my first time staying here and it was fine. I did have a problem with the sink draining as it filled up and held water the whole time. I love the location. Overall, it was a good stay and I will come back.

I stayed in this hotel almost the whole week, this hotel is not safe at all. My properties were gone inside the room. Be aware.

This Courtyard location provided multiple failures for both myself (Platinum Elite) and my business associate (Titanium Elite). He will write his own review. I would advise any traveler to read every review on this thread. The robotic response from management clearly points to issues that are not being addressed and resolved over an elongated timeframe.First, the point of utilizing advanced check-in via the Marriott app provides ZERO utility at most Marriott brands (excepting AC Hotels, where they honor the upgrade almost every time). When I got to this location around 6:30 pm local time, the Front Desk informed me there were "no upgraded rooms available" - more on that later. When I went to my room, the sofa bed was pulled out, pillows, blankets, and towels were all over the place. Housekeeping obviously didn't even touch this room, as has been stated in several other reviews. I go back down to the Front Desk and explain the problem. They tried to get me in other rooms that didn't fit my requirements, so I said I would wait for Housekeeping to get my original room ready. Bear with me . . . it gets better.I decided to walk across the lobby to the Bistro in hopes of having a beverage and some food while I waited for my room to be ready for arrival. The Front Desk lady comes by twice, with the second time to say "it's going to be awhile . . . around 30 minutes" (okay, fine), and I let her know that I would be sitting at the bar top. Finally - and this was the only bright spot in an otherwise dismal experience - the Housekeeping Manager stops by to apologize and offers me an upgraded suite (that apparently wasn't available when I originally asked). She also said she would personally inspect the upgraded suite before I went up to the room with my luggage. This is the only reason why I am giving this location two stars. And now, the bartender and the 'service'.This gentleman really should rethink his choice of vocation. I ordered a bourbon with a ginger ale on the side - he decided to mix them together. Okay, simple oversight, it happens. I order a cheeseburger with fries and wait while I sip on my drink. Other guests start to arrive, and the bartender is nowhere to be seen for 10-15 minutes at a time. When he arrives with the cheeseburger, it's conspicuously missing the lettuce. When I asked if I could get lettuce, he stated "it looked gross" and just left it off. When I asked if he could substitute with the arugula salad mix, he said all of the greens were thrown out . . . without informing this guest. Would I have ordered if the lettuce was unavailable? No, I would not. So I asked if anyone ordered a salad, or BLT, or anything else with greens, that they wouldn't get it, he responded in the affirmative. Are you kidding me? There's a grocery store across the street! He couldn't care less, and that's when I settled the bill immediately and I went up to my room with my luggage in tow.Throughout the stay the whole place smelled of overpowering air freshener to the point of having to crack open the balcony door just to get positive airflow. The Front Desk staff just stood around talking with one another while tables were dirty, and one was more interested in restocking the Market fridge than addressing guests who were waiting for assistance. This level of laziness and indifference is completely unacceptable. This entire experience was truly disappointing across the board. It really felt like a Fairfield Inn, which is a brand I refuse to stay at after multiple failures like *this* stay.It will be interesting to see management's response to this post. I somehow get the feel it will be the same, pre-canned, lame response as others in the past. The Marriott Corporation should take a serious look at the missing performance standards of this location, which I assume is franchised. I try to make my reviews straightforward and to the point. This one required A LOT in terms of a complete and honest review, so I apologize to the reader for the lengt

Have stayed here a couple of times now. I keep thinking each time will be better. Bottom line….front desk (which is your first impression) is just rude, unprofessional and not friendly. I am a Titanium member with Marriott and stay at their properties quite often. This property is toward the bottom of my list. Had to wait forever for someone to even come to the desk. Employee Regina finally came, but never even greeted me. Walked right past me and started typing on the computer. First thing she said was, “I need an ID and credit card.” She did only the bare minimum to get me checked in. I will say the rooms have been upgraded and better than the last time I stayed, but it’s obvious from the attached pic, they still need some work. This was a place for me to lay my head and get some rest and for that I’m thankful, but (if I can help it), I won’t be back.

I have stayed here a couple of times. The last time I stayed after a while things seemed to be remodeled and upgraded and it looks very nice. The room was nice and felt clean. My stay was quiet and peaceful. It’s right down the street from the Capital and a few minutes away from the FSU campus. I would stay here again.
