“Of all the DG's in this city this is by far the cleanest best stocked store in Leon county and surrounding counties.Mike the assistant manager should be moved up and given his own store in our city hes very good with people , a conscientious manager who cares about his employees as much as his store and customers ..... “So let me start with I don't shop at family Dollar and I'm not very familiar with it but recently have had to start shopping at family Dollar due to work purposes. So I just want to say it was so nice and refreshing to have two employees that were one pleasant to helpful three actually spoke and four went above and beyond their normal calls of work duties. So manager listen up, the two ladies that worked today at this this store on 1/11/25 during the opening shift. You need to let them know that they are amazing employees make sure you hold on to them and I would suggest giving them a raise because if not I might come snatch them. And thank you very much to both of y'all today for your help cuz I was lost without y'all.”
“Clean and well kept store. Everything was stocked neatly and in order. The Clerk at the register asked if I needed help finding something and was pleasant, genuine smile to end my visit too.

“The Hosford store on hwy20, and the Tallahassee Store at Getty Road and hwy20 are both good. Purchased an eyeglass repair kit at Getty Road store.I don't go to the Bristol store because it's never clean and the isles are packed!UpDate!New Store has opened in Bristol.It is still on hwy 20.”
“Store was pretty clean and straightened compared to other stores like this I have seen which are usually destroyed. The employees very nice and helpful as I was looking for something, ask for help and the lady stopped what she was doing and tried help me find it, not just tell me what isle it was on!”
“I enjoy this Dollar Tree location. This store does not seem to crowded or messy. It has a quietness unlike the other Dollar Tree locations I have visited throughout Tallahassee. There are certain items I normally buy from Dollar Tree, such as cleaning supplies, batteries, and holiday decorations. The savings add up, even cheaper than Walmart. The employees greet customers as we walk in, overall my favorite location.”
“One of the friendliest dollar general stores I've ever been to. Cashier actually showed me how to download the app to save money on the stuff I was purchasing. I ended up saving an additional 16 dollars thanks to her. It doesn't sound like much but when you live check to check that's very meaningful. So thank you dollar general for hiring positive and understanding people.”
“The prices are really good at $1.25 for so many different snacks. I spent $30 and walked out with several bags full of food/snacks for my family. Great prices. Much better than the Dollar General prices and the prices were labeled correctly also better than Dollar General. Employees were super nice too. ?”

“This a very specific review but I'm so impressed, I had to. I bought 3 foil balloons here TWO MONTHS ago and they are STILL floating. One started drooping a week ago but the remaining two still go straight to the ceiling. They're slightly deflated but still holding shape. If you ever have to buy balloons, this is the place, sweet biscuits!”

Her customer service is always great, she always greets me when I come in, she offers to bring me a cart when I’m carrying way too much, and she always has a smile. some things you can’t teach in customer service and that girl has it. “I just went to the Dollar General next to Tuesday Morning on Thomasville Road and had the most wonderful experience. Two staff members were readily available to help me find what I was looking for. Dino walked me to the aisle where he thought I could find a magnifying glass for one of the homeless veterans I serve. There were none on the shelf so Dino walked me to the back of the store, where I assumed he was checking the inventory. He came out and handed me HIS magnifying glass! He said he had another one and that I could take his to my veteran friend. It was such an awesome thing for him to do, a small thing that made all the difference in the world to me today and will really touch the man I will be giving the magnifying glass to. Thank you Dino and the sweet woman at the cash register who was just as kind and helpful!”

“Dollar general was a good experience in that they had everything I needed. Their prices were fairly low and the monsters were pretty cheap too they had really good selection of chips really good selection of candy and a great selection of all the junk food that I could think of. They even had corned beef hash. It's in a pretty bad area yet it's still clean and the bathrooms are open in fairlee in fairly decent. I would recommend it to my friends”

“Workers are SERIOUSLY amazing… the other day I had to pick up some stuff after just going through a rough breakup and AJ talked to me and hugged me while I cried. Today my roommate had to pick up some stuff for the animals and their card wouldn’t work and GG covered the items he couldn’t afford. The store is clean, the prices are great… but the people are what really makes this place stand out. Thanks for always being amazing”
