Martha was able to assist me in discovering where my employer made deposits into a nonexistent account when I requested that funds be deposited into my savings account at FCCU. It was an error on my employer's part. Long story, but it was resolved within 24 hours, and my funds were returned to me. Thanks Martha and financial team for making sure everything was correct.

My Account was seriously Hacked.. Supposedly if I had an Alert on it..I would of known it was a total headache! So I Closed it up!!! Never trust getting all your money back it's a charge for all the overdraft checks 33.00 for No fault of mines.. Seniors make you sure you have ALERTS on your Savings and Checking Accounts..Because you won't know it's Negative till it's over 2,000.00 worth of Charges..and you make a honest Deposit and it goes towards the negative.. Don't Recommend this Bank..

WORST BANK I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH…EVER!!!!! If you can bank anywhere else..literally anywhere else I would suggest doing so. Terrible customer service and all around banking policies. The lady who answers the phone for this place is the worst customer service I have ever experienced!! I do not know her name, starts with an L or something. Again..save yourself the honest trouble of dealing with a bank like this and go somewhere.

I applied for an auto loan with them online and was preapproved. The loan officer contacted me via email for backing documents, which I provided. I then heard nothing from them for days, attempted to call them and was sent to voicemail, and later received a rejection letter in the mail. Nothing in my credit history has changed between my application preapproval and subsequent denial. I have excellent credit, perfect payment history, and a suitable debt-to-income ratio, so the denial was very much a surprise. It was very upsetting, especially since they made no attempt to follow up with me other than a cold letter. Unfortunately, I made purchasing decisions based on the preapproval and am now stuck taking a high interest rate somewhere else. This bank needs to get their preapproval algorithm better calibrated if they want to deny people based on things their algorithm is approving. Highly irresponsible to do to prospective customers.

Scott Shoemaker assisted me in getting pre-approved for an auto loan. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and proficient. He even returned my call, AFTER THE BANK WAS CLOSED ON SATURDAY, as I needed some quick help while at the dealership. Thank you FCCU and thank you Scott!

Below is my review of this branch, based on my experience at this location 2 months ago, which I accidentally posted to the Bradfordville location. I gave it 1 star then (it deserved zero). I visited today and the service inside the branch was improved, but, it was so horrible before, I can only upgrade it to 2 stars now. I sense that some employees are trying, but management isn’t taking customer service very seriously.From October (one star). Their customer service and technology are abysmal! There are all kinds of limitations on how you can do electronic transactions, difficulty setting it up to begin with, lobby still closed due to Covid-19, drive-thru backed up all the time with glitchy technology there also, and extra charges for doing any transactions by phone. And, to top it off, they don’t even pretend to care or notice that they have problems. If you have all day to spend just trying to get basic transactions done with your bank, then FCCU’s for you; However, if you have a job or anything better to do with your time, save yourself some headaches and don’t start any kind of banking relationship with FCCU!

I have stuck with First Commerce through the years. Overall, I've been satisfied with their service. It has gotten less personal in recent years and it is hard to talk to a person who knows how to deal with your problem. During the pandemic, they have been very unhelpful. Lobby Is not open for transactions. They are not responsive to concerns. I am leaving to find a new financial institution.

I could not understand the poor reviews about First Commerce. I had always been treated with kindness, attentiveness, even joyful service, and found the employees to be helpful, courteous and intelligent. It has always been a pleasure to conduct business with First Commerce, and it's the past and present employees at the Thomasville Road Financial Center that have gone beyond their perfunctory duties to ensure that I feel valued as a customer. As of the date of this writing, in Leon County, there have been 5,851 people diagnosed with COVID-19 And 29 deaths over a period of 6 months. That means that approximately 1.94% of this community has contracted COVID. While 29 deaths over a period of 6 months is too many, we probably loose that same number of loved ones to traffic accidents over an identical time span. Grocery stores are open, department stores are open, and even restaurants are open with limited capacity, credit unions and banks are open, schools are opening, but not First Commerce. While I understand that in the initial stages, there was uncertainty surrounding this virus, but based on the statistics that we now have, it appears that the preeminent response to this pandemic has been one of hysteria and irrational fear. But while other activities are returning to regular business hours, First Commerce has not. And, if the leadership of First Commerce has a plan to resume normal activities and business hours, they are not doing a good job of communicating those efforts. The lack of forethought, planning and leadership at First Commerce has contributed to the frustration and increased stress during this difficult time. It also does not appear that there is a mechanism by which customers can be heard and/or lodge a suggestion or complaint. Leadership is detached from the needs of their clients and reinforced by flawed groupthink. So, while the employees are magnificent, I can't say that I'm completely enamored with the leadership team and upper management. Bank accordingly.

They charged me $2 to use an in network ATM which I didn't even make any actions on. I specifically went to an ATM they listed on their app as being in network so I could deposit money, I came to find the ATM had no deposit action so I ended it. Later I saw a $2 charge even though 1) in network ATMs don't have a charge 2) i didn't even deposit my money. When I asked they said the $2 was because I checked my balance, really that cost $2? I have their app from which I could check my balance for free why would I pay to check it. So warning out there these folks do scummy stuff like this.

*Beware* The worst bank ever!! Stay Away!! Do yourself a favor!! I went over $4 and for some reason I've been charged 3 $35 fees totaling 105 so 109 in all and first I was told a refund couldn't be issued because one was given 1 year ago but I advised her that I had just recently opened the account around that time and money was taken out using my account and routing number for a life insurance policy that didn't belong to me so they credited my money back then she says hold for a min and when she comes back I was told because of the type of checking account I have they can't issue a refund smh Stay away from these crooks.

Been with First Commerce Credit Union since I was 16 and they were Florida Commerce CU. Twenty plus years later and I still wouldn't use anyone else! Now all I want for Christmas is a few branches over my way in Gadsden County!
