Too expensive got items being donated.

The prices are a little higher than expected for a resale store. Especially since all their items are donated.

I've had my share of finding treasures at Goodwill. But they've recently raised prices. I've not been pleased about their splitting up women's suits. It doesn't make sense! They'd sell the suits more readily together than as separates. They've done that for a while. But now, at the Pensacola Street store, they're taking the lampshades from lamps and selling them separately. And these are well-loved, well-used lampshades. You're taking advantage of shoppers. Could a lamp or two have come in without any lampshades? Sure. But all of them? Come on, Goodwill.

Was pretty disappointed in what they had in-store. Been to many other Goodwill stores in other areas of the state and they have such a nicer selection with a larger variety of items than what this store has to offer. Staff was friendly at checkout for the one item my friend purchased.

Major disappointment. When I lived in Tallahassee years ago, they had daily sales. On Mondays, the entire store was half off. Now the store has no sales at all and all their prices are jacked up so high. When I used to go on the weekends the place would be full. Today I went and there was five people in the store! There used to be a long checkout line and today there wasn't even anyone at the register. If they weren't so darn greedy maybe they could have the business they once had. Used to be one of my favorite places to shop, now I don't even bother.

This store gets worse and worse. I hadn't been there in about 3 years because it had gotten so bad, but I decided to give it another chance. Never again. The merchandise is filthy, the store is filthy and unorganized, and understaffed. All the job programs Goodwill supports you'd think they would hire people to work the registers and clean the store. And, their already high prices have gone up. I'm back to non profit thrift stores only.

Clean. That's the only good thing I saw. Everything is terribly over priced. Some things priced were literally twice as much as they would be buying them brand new. For instance, an unopened pack of tea light candles, that I know for a fact are $1 at Dollar General, were marked $3.99. I can get a pair of brand new converse at a good sale for $20-$25. The ones I saw here, I considered buying even though they were stained, were priced at $15.99. I usually don't shop at Goodwill because of the percentage that actually goes to charity (which is literally nothing). I thought I would give them a shot, because I haven't been in a while. America's Thrift Store remains my go-to place for a great find.

I used to buy a lot at Goodwill, however, they no longer have good prices. I rarely buy anything now and I no longer donate to them. I prefer to donate to locally owned shops.

They over price quite a bit of the items they receive. I understand trying to obtain the most from a donation to ensure program needs are met. However, there are way too many low quality items priced too high. An example, the same quart pitcher you can get for a $1.25 at dollar tree was priced at $1.99. Lamps that are chipped or missing shades should not be on the floor for $19.99. All that to say, there are still quite a few good deals to be had. The price of clothing is slightly outrageous, but overall if you dig a bit you can still find good deals.

It's a great place to find affordable clothes and household stuff. You can find some really cool things here. The staff is always there to help you around. Quality can vary from product to product. You have to be careful and observant. But I have had a great experience with them. I usually find things that fit me. It can get time consuming most of the time, other than that everything is fine.
