Governor’s Square is the main regional mall in the Tallahassee area, offering over 100 stores to choose from. Visitors can find a variety of shops, including apparel, accessories, sporting goods, and special items, ensuring a wide selection for shopping. The mall features a clean and welcoming environment, with polite staff and security on site. The food court has been updated with new options like Las Madres, 1902 Coffee, and Southern Smoke, adding to the overall shopping experience. While the mall is generally well-maintained, some visitors have noticed a strong marijuana smell in the parking lot. Parking is plentiful, making it easy to visit. The mall remains the most beautiful indoor shopping center in the region, supported by well-known stores like Penneys and Dillard's. Though prices for clothing and shoes can be high, the variety of stores and food choices makes it a good place to visit, especially during hot summer days. Overall, it offers a typical mall experience with a mix of familiar stores and new additions.
Escalators on each end of the mall were closed making it more difficult to get around to where we wanted. There is a play area for smaller children, under age of 4. Very clean and super friendly staff in every store.
