A true yoga family… A small, cozy studio that welcomes everyone without judgment and offers courses on the entire yogic path, not just asana. I am continually deeply impressed with the years of study, training, experience and wisdom Joanna and Hal present in asana classes, Bhagavad Gita weekends, kirtan, etc. they are generous with their time and energy, and are committed to walking the path bravely, with integrity, honesty and zeal. I have received a well grounded and informed experience of every facet of yoga… A true gem of a studio. I am home.?

After years of trying to find a yoga studio whose class hours work with my schedule I finally gave up on yoga. Then, my brother told me about Lakulish, but since I live in Jacksonville, Fl there was no way that I could attend, until I could! The owner/instructor began offering online classes every Monday and Thursday evenings which I've been attending for almost two years. Not having to hurry home to get ready, feed and walk my dogs, then back in the car to drive to yoga makes the yoga experience much more relaxing and therefore more beneficial both physically and mentally. Joanna teaches true yoga; offering her students a place of peace, meditation, and slow, healthy stretching. Although I've never met Joanna and look forward to doing so, we've developed a nice friendship. I love Joanna and practicing yoga with her in the comfort of my own home.Thank you Joanna!

Excellent on all levels. My experiences there have been in varying aspects, from yoga to kirtans, and all are the genuine, authentic and very good. If I could choose all three of the likes above I would - Good quality, Professional, Good communication. I have been going to Lakulish for about a decade and will keep going and recommend it highly. The best.

Tallahassee is very fortunate to have a Lakulish Yoga presence. I've known Hal and Joanna for about 20 years and played Kirtan with them and Adam till I was pulled away by a family emergency. I attended Kirtan at the Center many times over the years. During this time we shared countless hours discussing our respective spiritual journeys.I met Bapuji when we played for him in Tallahassee and was very impressed with the intimate family experience with the many Lakulish devotees and with Bapuji himself.Lakulish yoga is an honored spiritual tradition, that teaches more than just the postures and the scriptural study and practice.... it is a space of spiritual opening.. and of revelation our true nature ...the very same Oneness that Krishna revealed to Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita is our destiny. Hal and Joanna are the real deal... and the center is a joy to be a part of...

The perfect fit for me--not fast but challenging incorporating the spiritual as well as physical. My husband new to yoga has found it physically rewarding. Thank you

Joanna is a very gifted yoga teacher who reaches all levels of students, whether you are beginner or more advanced. She is brilliant at offering adaptations to make yoga poses accessible regardless of a student’s limitations.

The beginner classes on Wednesday and Thursday evenings are a perfect way to unwind after work. JoAnna is an amazing instructor. You would be hard pressed to find someone with more experience as she has been teaching for more than 20 years. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best yoga teacher in town. The classes are an hour and a half so it feels more like a complete practice. The studio is clean, comfy and cost. To my surprise, I also enjoyed the yoga nidra/ directed meditation

I love Lakilush Yoga! The minimalist studio is clean and relaxing, and the classes are smaller, more intimate, and more affordable than at some of the bigger yoga studios in town. JoAnna is kind, knowledgeable, and experienced; she always took the time to guide me through alternative poses when my body pushed back against a stretch we were doing, and I definitely benefited from the individualized attention she gave me. And while Lakilush’s staff is happy to focus on helping you develop your physical practice, they also know A LOT about the spiritual side of Yoga, and they can instruct you on that approach if you desire! I highly recommend.
