About Leon County Humane Society
The Leon County Humane Society does an amazing job to care and provide for animals in need of a new home. The staff is lovely and kind, and the facilities are great. These folks really care and are dedicated, helpful, and fantastic in assisting with adoptions. The adoption process is very easy. They provide perfect advice, directions, guidance, and suggestions to make each transition smooth. People are thankful for the opportunity to adopt dogs and cats that become part of the family. The society is fortunate to have such dedicated foster parents who ensure the animals are happy, healthy, and well-prepared for their new homes. For those unable to adopt, food donations and other pet supplies are also needed.

My husband and I just adopted a puppy that Erin fostered. The process went quickly and smoothly. Erin was wonderful to work with and did a great job getting the puppy ready for a home. Amy was also very prompt and helpful to get the final paperwork to us and get everything finalized. We couldn't be happier with our experience.
