Katie couldn't have been better with the sales help that she gave me, I will absolutely go to her again soon for more furniture. I did have some issues, the main one being that the two bed frames I bought were not properly assembled by the delivery men. That is not just my view but that of the repairman that Macys sent to look at them. I have been using the king size frame for two weeks but it was getting creakier each night. The repairman said the middle support beam had completely come out because not all of the holes had screws in them! The other screwed were not properly in place. We then checked the unslept on queen size frame and that had missing screws and screws not properly in place too! Now the bed is so so much better after the fixes yesterday. Then the sofa had deep groove marks in the arm on delivery that were noticeable. Macys sent a replacement that was covered in the grooves and the delivery men said "we can't leave this, it's worse that the one you have" and said it was a factory mistake. Eventually yesterday I got a sofa delivered that had been inspected prior to delivery and is absolutely great. I love their furniture generally but these issues have me more careful for future deliveries. I do feel annoyed I tipped well the first delivery men that did such a bad job of the beds.

When I visited this store a couple of days ago I was absolutely appalled at the appearance of the dressing rooms and the overall appearance of this store at Governor's Square. In Particularly, carpet in the dressing room had nasty stains, grime and trash as though it had not been cleaned in months. It just looked unsanitary , like a breeding ground for germs. The carpet over the entire store was also littered with stains and grime! It was difficult to find any one who could assist at the registers. . Macys has always been One of my top places to shop because of it's stellar shopping experience, ambiance, it's variety of quality merchandise, as well as it customer service. However this store is lacking in all areas and doesn't represent the Macys brand that I am accustomed to experiencing.

Macy's was once my favorite store. I also joked about moving to cities base on Macys department store location. Wow is it very dissatisfying and disturbing to see the Macys at Governor square Mall located in Tallahassee, FL look so disgusting. To start with it's a smaller store compared to most I've visited around the country, so you're not going to have the same options as other store. Furthermore, during the holidays I was told to carry my purchase garments in my hand because the store doesn't have bags including no receipt paper, wow. Last and most importantly this store should be condemn with the filth found on every level. I've visited Walmarts, flea markets, and your most cheapest establishments that look 10 times better than this store. It's absurd that a department store with so much class, elegance, and fame would look so deplorable. The restrooms are more dirty than a ball park, and oh please don't talk about the fitting room. I would rather take my chances purchasing and returning what doesn't fit than utilizing these nasty fitting rooms. I'm afraid of catching something from allowing my feet to touch the stained and bug infested carpet. At the end of the day this store needs to be closed and remodel or needs new management to start with. My goodness Macys inc take your name off this building and save your name from being forever tarnished. Because I can assure most fine customers are walking out of the store and bee lining to other department stores in the mall with much cleaner environment.

Its only a furniture store. Nothing else. Not like Macys at the mall. Really a waste of time coming down here. Should be renamed to something else.

Horrible service! I was told if I place the order same day or next day after I went to the store I will receive my order in 3 weeks because there is only 5 sofas left otherwise I have to wait until October! So guess what?! After 3 weeks I get a mail that there is a delay on my order and will arrive September 5, ok so I wait patiently! After not receiving my sofa on that day I call costumes service and they didn't have information about that! I ask to speak with the manager and I was told that managers are only available if you file issue report, so why nobody did that 5 weeks ago! Peter was my sale assistant and after he "steal" my money he never call me back to check on my order! Such a disappointment! And yes after waiting almost 8 weeks I was told that I can still CANCEL MY ORDER, that's the option too she said! So I can't speak with the manager, the agent is suggesting me to cancel my order and Petra disappear that gives me information that nobody in this company cares about the customers! Macy's furniture such a same!

I have been looking for a sectional sofa for more than a year and after seeing a Memorial Day sale at Macy's, I went in and ended up buying a leather sectional for $2265 from the salesman, Peter. He strongly suggested I buy the WorryNoMore ULTIMATE protection plan that covers basically everything for 5 years, and I did. After 6 weeks of having the sofa, I saw some unknown stains on the middle section. I tried the cleaner they provided but it did not work. I called and they mailed a different cleaner that also did not work. Then WorryNoMore sent out a technician who tried to clean it, but it also did not work. So, he took measurements of the middle sofa and said he would submit it and I would be sent a replacement piece of leather and he would reinstall this... and not to worry. I just received a claim denial because my issue was not covered, even though they allegedly cover unknown stains and normal wear and tear, which their technician said it was. This appears to be a huge scam and if they won't cover this, then they won't cover anything. DO NOT BUY THIS PROTECTION, and consider going to a different furniture store and avoid this high pressure sales pitch.

OMG, Macy's used to be one of my favorite stores, but I almost cringe every time I go in the store now. I keep telling myself that I should just order online to save myself the headache and frustration I experience EACH time I go inside the store. I can tell you, I always get in another workout for the day, walking around trying to find a cashier to ring me up! Such a hassle. I would say that COVID is responsible for the lack of staff, but I think this issue started before the pandemic. Also, sometimes, the shelves just seem to be pretty bare; also understandable. I know shopping online is "the thing" for many of us, but sometimes, I just like to physically go in the store and look around and lay eyes on the items I like and will purchase. Anyway, I guess this is the new norm - walking around the department store to find what you need and then hunt down someone to ring you up...

Buyer beware. I started searching for a sectional for my new home in the summer of 2020 but could not find what I was looking for anywhere since everything seemed to be grey (color of the year it seems). I made the disasters decision to try Macy's furniture gallery and drove the hour out to their store August/September 2020. I ended up going with a custom deep wine sectional that cost me nearly $3000. I paid the nearly $500 deposit and was told I would have the item delivered within 4 weeks. After multiple calls and no explanation delays and the best part: hosting holidays where we sat on the hard tile floor my item was finally delivered in APRIL 2021 after standing me up for an entire day delivery with no call to reschedule. When I called to find out what the situation was I was initially told the sectional was delivered (!) uh...that would be no. I had to get a redelivery scheduled which was another week out. Once the sofa was delivered I noticed some discolorations here/there on the fabric that looked almost like water stain spots. Whatever. At this point I just wanted something to sit on so I accepted the couch. I had the couch for only a couple of weeks and rarely even sat on it and noticed the back cushions were getting slumpy. I couldn't believe this. I unzipped them to find they are basically 1/2 filled with this packing material that's reminds me of a paper towel. Is this what Macy sells as quality merchandise for $3000 and 6 months of waiting? I've made multiple calls to Macys customer services and that left some things to be desired. I've had reps be nasty and tell me "oh well" when I complained about delays. I called to complain about the back cushion issue and was told someone would be out this week only to be to be advised they will not be out and that they had to reschedule for two more weeks out. I'm so disappointed in this purchase and the client service issued. This does not live up to the Macys brand name. You're better than this Macy's - start acting like it again. UPDATE: So when the technician finally showed up to look at my sectional he said it's standard for the back cushions to be filled with cotton balls and paper towel material. I said I've purchased many pieces of furniture from different furniture manufactures over the last few years and not one had filling of this nature and those pieces certainly cost a lot less than this sectional did. The technician said it's expected that the client is to just turn the cushion over and that will solve the slumpy cushion issue. I said "are you serious?" and he said he sees no issue with the sofa and would report it as such. My next move will be to lodge a complaint with the BBB. I will NEVER EVER purchase from Macy's again. This has been the worst experience I have ever had. What a scam.

Purchased an 87" long Lothan sleeper sofa sofa and was delivered a 79" long Lothan sleeper sofa on 4/26/21. Macy's refuses to return the wrong sized piece and replace it with the correct sized piece unless I repurchase the correct piece and then wait for a refund on the incorrect piece. They are unable to confirm stock or a deliver date. That leaves me with thousands of dollars outstanding with no way to know when I will even receive a refund. I have called multiple times to find an amicable solution but none are offered. Sofa was also damaged when being delivered. This was a disappointing experience.

I would only go back here if they were able to deliver the item from current stock. Be cautious about purchasing anything that needs to come from the manufacturer or custom made: they will give you an estimated warehouse delivery date that isn't accurate. The week we expected the warehouse to receive, we got an auto generated email saying it was delayed by over a month. Customer service (Cameron) said "no one should have promised you a delivery date". So essentially customers are expected to be open to an infinite delivery timeline. Three and a half months is too long to wait when there are so many other furniture stores to chose from.
