I do not recommend this nail salon.
I visited on April 24, 2025, for a soak-off and overlay. I paid for gel polish, but I was very unhappy with how the French tips were done. I left without receiving a refund because no one was available to assist me at the time.
I returned the next day for the owner to fix the issue. The technician who originally did my nails applied a thin layer of acrylic, which caused my natural nails to break.
When I went back to show the damage, the owner told me to return at 4 PM because the shop was busy. I don’t believe that was fair—I spent my money just like any other customer and should have been taken care of right then, not told to come back.

I love this place but please stop asking me do I want an eyebrow arch every single time I come to get my nails done... if I don't ask, then I don't want it!!!!! And stop telling me that coffin nail shape would be better for me ( more money). And tell your pedicure dude to stop laughing just because a person chose the $35.00 Pedi package... I WANT WHAT I WANT!!!!! STOP TRYING TO MAKE ME GET WHAT YOU WANT ME TO GET!! ALL THESE NAIL SHOPS JUST WANT MORE MONEY!!! Everyone has just stop going by the price paper on the wall!!! If the price of a full set or anything else have went up then change your prices on the wall. Y'all give us whatever price that pops up in your head!! I'M SO ELATED THAT MY DAUGHTER IS LEARNING HOW TO DO ME AND HER SISTER NAILS... SHE ALREADY DO OUR BRAIDS.....I think my days at any nail shop are just about over with!!!

I moved to Tallahassee from the Tampa area over a year ago. Since then I have tried so many nail salons in Tallahasse and without a doubt this is the best place. Cathy did my nails exactly the way I wanted and even better. She was very detailed and caring. The work was better than the one I used to get in Tampa. The detail design Cathy added to my nails was beautiful! I found my favorite nail salon. Thank you Cathy you are amazing. Oh, I went back the next day for eye brow wax, again Cathy did an amazing job. Highly recommend Magic Nails with Cathy.

OMG...I drive two and a half hours from Georgia, moved last year! No one...no one is as good as Cathy at Majic Nails! I'm an older woman, trust me, I've known several over the years. No nicks, no burs, all same length, AND absolutely perfect polish!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SALON!!!Services: Foot massages

If you are not a regular, DO NOT GO HERE! I needed a fill in for an event I was going to at 6 and decided to stop and get my service there. They asked me if I minded waiting( thinking it'll be 20-30 minutes max) I waited for almost 2 hours with no service for a fill! I sat down at 1:38 and left at 3:20 with nothing done to my nails. I was furious. I should've left but I didn't want to waste more time trying to find a salon. 2 people who walked in after me was serviced before me(my guess is because they are regulars) and that's caused me to just walk out. If they didn't have the time to service or did not want to, they could've simply told me they were too busy. Do not waste your time!
