Disaster dry cleaning at One Low Price Cleaners in Tallahassee. Ruined my scarf then offered no recourse- First, I would not bring a torn scarf for dry cleaning (wool & silk) what’s the point. Second, I was told at pick up, 90 lbs are dry cleaned together. A fragile scarf with other heavy things with buttons and hooks, uniforms and alike. Third, I asked before I left it, if I should hand wash or dry clean like the tag says. I was told I probably should follow directions. So my message is, if you value your clothing do not use One Price Dry Cleaners no matter how convenient they are located. I am heartbroken because this was one of my favorites and now have at least 4 holes in it.

Have been using this place for a couple of years now.
Very convenient drop off on the way to work. Typically pick up on the way home or next day.
Have never had an issue, prices are good.
The guy now manning the front desk is very friendly and professional.
Met the owner once, ex Marine I think.

I like that items are prepaid, it makes the pickup process simpler with no surprises.

I didn't want to give them any 'stars', but you have to check at least one to provide a review.Bad experience! They ruined my 8 curtain panels by shrinking them.I had to bring them back to be redone after the first time. There was dirt on them that was NOT there when I brought them in so I had to take them back!I inspected them closely the second time to see if they had been cleaned. Inspecting them at Midtown Dry Cleaning would not guarantee they had not shrunk until they were hung.The label says "For best results, professional laundering is recommended." It clearly shows - do not wash, dry clean only (see photo).Because the price I was charged is the "least expensive in Tallahasee" is that supposed to affect the quality of work I receive?

Do not take your laundry to this place! I found trash in my sheets! I think perhaps someone did this on purpose. It could have been SABOTAGE! Retaliation for having to work so hard. Who knows why… perhaps she hates her boss? For what ever reason they have problems. The clothes were clean but poorly folded. Blouses were not hung up but a wrinkled mess, linens not well folded.

I travel a lot with my work. And I try to find wash N folds for my clothes. I drove by this location and went in. Gave them my clothes. And got them back a couple of hours later the same day. I have no issues. This business isn’t rated very well. But in my experience, I didn’t have any issues. Most comment on customer service. My take is that they don’t have to love you and have a smile on their face all day long. They offer a service and that is what it is. And I got the services they provide and went on my way. I wouldn’t mind using them again in the future.

I dropped my 3 items off on Wednesday 4/14/21, at approximately 12:15 p.m.
At drop-off, I explained, that two of the items I could wait until next week if needbe to get back, but 1 item in particular, even if I needed to pay a rush fee for, I needed it back by Friday (because they are closed on Saturday and Sunday). The young lady with whom I was dealing informed me ALL items would be ready after 4 p.m. the following day (Thursday 4/15/21), despite my pick-up ticket saying 4/16/21 after 4p.m.
I didn't go back until Friday, 4/16/21 around 12:10 p.m., at which time I was informed by another female employee that my items weren't ready. I shared with her, that her co-worker had informed me when I dropped my items off, that my items would be ready the following day (Thursday) after 4. To which she RUDELY responded, "We don't do no cleaning on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so that couldn'tve been. You'll have to come back after 4." I responded affirmatively and left.
My thought then was, I get off at 5:30, it shouldn't take me any more than 15 minutes- even in the worst of traffic to get here from work- so I should be good because they don't close until 6!
I went back, got there at 5:40 and they were CLOSED! I have an event today 4/18/21 and nothing to wear- I AM LIVID!
Hopefully you can look at the details of the attached photo and see that it was taken ON Friday AT 5:44p.m. after the shock had worn off of them being CLOSED BEFORE the time listed as their hours state on their building. AGAIN... LIVID!
