They are super responsive and are constantly letting you know what is going on with the process. The quote for the move was great compared to other quotes I had from other companies. The only thing I'd say was I had trouble contacting the company phone on the day of the move (Saturday) but everything worked out. “Antwan & Brendy are super amazing & professional movers! They are extremely attentive & efficient. They think of all the things I didn’t think of like fully reclining the sofa so I wouldn’t hit the walls later on & moving it just right. They even showed me extra lights on the sofa I didn’t even realize it had! Ox Strong’s pricing is extremely reasonable & better than the bids/quotes I received from 3 other companies using Yelp Project. I actually found Ox strong on google first but thought I should try yelp project as well. I am not local to Tallahassee, but am here for a month helping my friend recover from spinal surgery. She had spinal surgery 18 days ago & needed a recliner or reclining sofa to be able to sit comfortably. We found the sofa Saturday afternoon but it was a floor model so the store didn’t offer delivery services. I told her “No worries! You want it? I’ll figure it out.” Thank goodness for Google! Was more helpful than Next Door or yelp for me. Denise answered my call & was wonderful to speak with. Extremely friendly & helpful. We weren’t sure yet on Saturday if we were going to buy the sofa & I explained that to Denise. She said it was no problem & she would be in the office on Sunday too & that the movers had availability on Monday if we do decide to buy the sofa set (it came with 2 end tables, coffee table, 2 lamps, & a carpet.. more than we wanted.) we also had the the old sofa & end table we didn’t want & Denise assured me that they would take whatever furniture we didn’t want to donate at Lighthouse Children's Home.

After talking with 3 other companies listed on yelp, Denise was a breath of fresh air & knew that we’d be calling Ox Strong again if we actually got the sofa. The next day my friend decided to get the sofa & I called Ox Strong at 4 pm before going back to the furniture store to pay for the sofa set ?.
She scheduled pickup at the furniture store between 10 am to 10:30 pm. & told me Antwan would be contacting me in the morning when they arrive at the furniture store.

Come Monday morning i do indeed get a pleasant call from Antwan at 10:25 am & the rest went so fast I couldn’t believe we were done in about an hour & I didn’t even have to lift a finger! (She lives really close to the furniture store ?).

I met Brendy & Antwan & they immediately got to work taking the old couch out of the apartment. The setup a door guard to protect the frame. The guys were just sweet, wonderful, & respectful people. They took old the pieces of furniture & coffee table we didn’t want & set everything up just right. I definitely recommend them & would specifically request Antwan & Brendy again for any more moves we may need from Ox Strong.”

Our stuff was delivered yesterday and we have already started to unpack and settle in to our new home. I wanted to take a moment to share a note of appreciation for everyone we have interacted with on this journey.

I grew up in a military family and we moved around a lot, and most of the time we arrived with something missing, damaged, or delays. I was expecting to have to deal with some of those stressors along the way. However, at every step you and the movers from Excel, Mario and Stan, have done an amazing job.

This has been the smoothest move I have ever experienced and I wanted to share my appreciation. From the initial consultation and quote with Meg, to booking and logistics with Phil, and inventory and loading/unloading with Mario and Stan, everyone has been so professional, friendly, helpful, and considerate.

We are still going through all of the boxes, but from what we can tell everything was handled with incredible care and attention. Mario and Stan even made sure that they unloaded boxes we would need most immediately in a way that was easy to access.

Allied stepped in with only a week left before our needed departure date and did the packing and move. Our departure was on time as was the delivery. They gave us an 8 hour window but the gentleman called an hour before in the morning and told us the precise time that he would be there.
