Don't miss visiting Obsessions Gift Shop! So many interesting and creative things going on and artwork to look at and purchase. Betty had a store full of customers and still took the time out to chat and handle our special request. Highly recommended.

I’m from out of town and I was just stopping by and ended up leaving with a really cool piece of art. Met some cool people while I was there too. I hope I can come by again next time I’m in town.

We had a blast at this hidden Tallahassee gem! The staff is so kind and willing to show you how to make a unique art piece to take home. This would be an excellent and affordable date night, birthday experience, or family activity. We even bought some delicious fruits from the owner’s farm!

I attended a Wednesday night beginner crochet class and it was so much fun!!! The teacher, Madi, was so good. It was a small group. I like that she used slides, demonstration and individual assistance. She's really attuned to helping people at different learning levels. I made a really cute wristlet. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at the gift shop today. In addition to having some great crafts to buy they also have community activities. Today they were creating a latch hook rug that we were able to help creat. Such a fun and warm environment!I highly recommend you stop by when you're in town!

I've always wanted to learn to crochet and recently joined in on a beginner crochet class taught by Madi Moore at Obsessions. Suffice it to say that I liked it so much I joined up for her series of classes. She's an amazingly talented and patient instructor. I can't believe I was able to complete every project we've worked on( considering how I've tried in the past and just couldn't figure it out). Can't wait for our next project!!

This was such an awesome space! I provided DJ-ing, sound and lighting for a small mini concert at the space. #tryVEZ The owner and her daughter truly have a passion for making a difference in the community! Anytime you need that special come through type of gift, I highly suggest stopping in to give them a visit!

Although I wasn’t a fan of the crafts of this shop, you got to hand it to the staff here. They are super duper sweet and even have a little game every customer can play when they walk in, and the game is genius. It almost forces you to look at their products, but trust me doing so is a blast. I wish I liked something enough to buy from here, but in all honesty, I should have. If I’m not mistaken, I believe a lot of their products are autism-centered, so perhaps a portion of the profits goes towards autism research. If that’s not the case, maybe it should be! I believe this store has a wonderful story behind it, and I recommend anyone in the area at least give it a look and play the game! One thing I can recommend the owners do, however, is change the lighting. Please. Compared to the vibe surrounding the place, the lighting is extremely harsh and bluish. The sterility of the lighting is doing no favors for highlighting the products that are presented. Perhaps light some incense as well because the smell was a bit odd/olden.

Obsessions is such a unique and caring place! Their merchandise is handmade by various artists and workshops for the general public are offered! They also provide several services, including entrepreneurial and employment skills training and assistance, for adolescents and young adults on the autism spectrum.
