I am sorry to report that this is a 1 Star store. I went in to get allignment, which i believe they did correctly, but their deceptive heads started to show.
When the technician was bringing the paperwork and keys back in for completion of job, he was telling the counter man that their is an oil leak.
The technician explained to me that he calls it a progressive oil leak because it is coming out at a good pace. He said it was leaking from the engine on the transmission, and others might would tell me it is from transmission, but it is not. He said he to stand to the side of the transmisdion because it was coming down so much.
For assurance I asked him if it was from the engine, then he said that I wasn't in there for that. This is when I knew tge fix-was-in, and I no longer could trust anything they said. However, they were quick to give me a qoute for a diagnosis.
At this point, I told my wife that we would leave. I went outside, popped the hood and looked around, and seen no signs of gushing oil. I checked the level of my oil, and was perfectly at the full mark.
In defense of Pep Boys, most companies will try to pull scams to get from your wallet into theirs. However, there are probably 10% of businesses and shops that try to build their brand with integrity. I can not recommend this store for any service or affiliation of any kind.
Firstly, I recommend that all management be terminated immediately. Secondly, an indepth retraining should be supervised by corporate. And lastly I recommend that random audits be conducted over a two year period.

They do not know how to troubleshoot. I took my car in because breaks went out and had it towed there. They told me my calipers were seized up and they could not in seize them and they needed to be replaced. When confronted about them not being seized they then told me that was no longer the issues and that I needed a brake hose replaced. They tried to scam me out of $1400 doing stuff I didn’t need. After lots of back and forth got it down to just over $400. Do not take your car here.

My husband bought his tires from here so when the low pressure light came on he went there to have it checked. He got there shortly after 3:30 and was told it would take 15 minutes. He sat there til just before closing time (7pm), waiting, and they never even looked at his truck. He was too nice mot to say anything, but I am not. This utter lack of customer service is entirely inexcusable. Either tell him you don't have time in the schedule, or do what you say. We paid for the tire warranties so that my husband who is paralyzed is able to go back in situations like this and have them checked.

Called in they stated they had 4 tires in my size on the shelf, so I set an appointment. Everything seemed good, get here they're finishing up a few appointments no biggie I don't mind waiting a little bit. 2 hours goes by they're about to close they still haven't found my tires in the back. I offered to get a smaller size because I have a lowered vehicle and don't mind having it stanced. I offer to help because I've worked in a tire shop for years and a 2 hour wait for 2 tires is ridiculous. Steven the manager started getting disrespectful acting like his lack of organization and communication is my fault.
Stating he can't stop the other cars to work on mine. That's fine but none of the cars should've taken this long. The other cars here were a battery and serpentine belt, and rotating and balancing 4 tires. The young gentleman working with steven was very kind and eager to learn, I hope he finds a better leader than this. Steven, learn how to manage a shop and communicate with people. If you can't handle 3 cars in a reasonable time frame let them know Steven. Or don't take the cars in set a schedule you can handle Steven.

The store manager took advantage of the disabled vehicle situation to more than double the original estimate after unsuccessfully tried to sell unrelated services. He and the AAA guy who recommended that I take the car to that particular store knew clearly what they were doing.

I had a terrible experience at PepBoys. I dropped off my car several weeks ago to have a lower control arm replaced on my 2005 C230 Mercedes. Despite giving me an initial estimate, they were unable to find the price for the part. This is particularly frustrating because this location is connected to an AutoZone store, and they couldn't source the part for three weeks. They never called me back despite providing my number multiple times. When I went in to pick up my keys, the staff was unhelpful and somewhat dismissive. I strongly advise against using their services. The address is 2353 Richardson Road. sadly, too say is only one star, but I will give them no stars

I was having A/C issues. I called the establishment and was TOLD that the main A/C worker was off, however, they would take a look at my car anyway. The worker informed me that if it was something they couldn't do they would ask me to just come back the next day. Around 10:00 AM that day, I took the car to get looked at and was told there was no leaks or major issues and that the car was out of freon. I paid $412 to get the freon filled and was told it was a 15-20 minute job. I didn't leave until 4:30 PM. Not even an hour later, I started noticing the A/C was blowing hot again. Took the car back the next day (like they said to do if I had any issues) from 9:00 AM until 4 PM no one even looked at the car. Went back the following day, someone looked at the car and told me that I had a major leak(remind you, I was told I had NO LEAKS two days ago and now I have a major one). I wasa quote around $1000 to fix the leak. I took the car for a second opnion and was told that when the A/C was rechanged, it wasn't done properly causing the hose to blow. I tried several times to call and reach out to the manager at this location but never could get him/her. I even left my name and number to get a call back but I am sure my profile was looked at and they knew why I was calling.
