Acura mechanic said I had a bad battery; they diagnosed it as the reason my rdx was jerking. They suggested I purchase a battery from them for $200. I went to NAPA to purchase a battery. The man checked my battery; he said I have a really good battery less than a year old. He said the cables to my battery were loose. He tightened my cables and my truck is running great. NO THANKS TO ACURA!They also diagnosed my previous issue as a needed system update for $200. I paid the bill. I received my RDX back in worse condition than when they received it. I DO NOT TRUST PROCTOR ACURA DEALERSHIP IN TALLAHASSEE, Florida. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, despite the reviews. I should have listened to the reviews; now I have a bad review and bad experiences with them.

Very friendly group. Stopped to look at the new Ascent. None in stock but they still took the time to show me a a used 2022 and explain the differences I would see in the 2023 when they arrived in a month or so. Sad to say my vehicle had some issues and had to purchase a new SUV elsewhere. Compared to other places I stopped this place stood out in a positive way.

Scam. They overcharge & lie about to work needing to be done. I have warranty on my car & is covered 100% they still tried to charge me $1000 out of pocket then tacked on more hours needed. I've never went to them aside from oil changes but I'm glad I was able to witness how they handled something like that.

My son took his car to Proctor Acura for an oil change. The service advisor then tells him that ALL of his lug nuts on ALL tires are stripped. We asked why they removed the tires and they stated that my son requested a tire rotation. My son knows that we have another company for tire rotations and did not request this service. We believe that Proctor Acura is running a scam on college students and conning them into additional work. Once they had the tires off, we were told that he could not drive the car safely without their rethreading the lug nuts. Even our credit card company believed that this sounds like they are running a scam on college students. We tried to discuss this with the service manager, however he continued to state the our son had requested the service. We have submitted a complaint to the BBB and want to inform people that this dealer is taking advantage of our kids.
