Lunch time and with a grumbling tummy, I stopped at Publix today and got a sub! Whole wheat bread, turkey, swiss cheese, spinach, tomato, onion, cucumber, just a little mayo, some oil and vinegar. Perfection. No one does subs like Publix! The store is tidy and well stocked. An excellent shopping experience as I have come to expect from Publix. We have them home in Charlotte and they've really helped lift the market. This one is great too! [Review 19886 overall - 1688 in Florida - 859 of 2023.]

Tried giving this place another try. Went there around 8 PM pharmacist was alone and playing on his phone. I had a simple refill but he was like it'll take me a long time to get it done, I'm all alone. Just plain lazy.

Really love Publix, but was extremely frustrated with Lori working in the deli sandwich. I'm visiting from out of town and always look forward to visiting Publix, she carried on in a conversation while making a sandwich about the Publix manager and scheduling issues. The poor girl working next to her today made two sandwiches in the time that it took to make one, and she was clearly also frustrated. Then she left in the middle of my order and another girl basically kicked me out of line while I waited for her to come back to finish my order. The store was clean, but some of my go-to stuff to buy tasted different from the normal recipes especially the deviled eggs which tasted like a garlic clove with mustard on top. Nasty. Sad this was my experience as I truly love Publix

PROS: * Convenient location off I-10 with easy access from both directions of Mahan. * Store and parking lot are always clean. * Stock workers are always polite and helpful. * Among the cashiers, Margaret is the best--fast and friendly at the same time. CONS: * Store is smaller than the average Publix, and so many popular items are regularly out of stock. * Several cashiers are not up to the Publix level of quality (but see exception above). Some always have a "Is it time to go home yet?" attitude regardless of the day/time I shop. Others seem to take about 5-10 seconds to scan each item resulting in excessively long checkout times. * The college kids (cashiers and baggers) have the bad habit of talking about their personal lives (sometimes with inappropriate details) while checking out customers instead of pausing and picking the conversation back up once the line is clear. * Meat department needs help. They are regularly out of stock on BOGO items, especially chicken. And when they do have those items in stock, they tend not to be marked; not sure if that's some kind of strategy to prevent a run on the item.

Even on my worst day, I love going to this Publix! Every time I go there I am greeted by someone with a smile and a welcome to Publix. When you are walking around the employees always ask if they can help you find anything and always tell you to have a good day. The shelves are always full and they always seem to have everything I am looking for. They are a little more expensive than Walmart, but it is well worth the extra money.

With its many attributes, it is no wonder that Publix has become the premier supermarket and the supermarket that sets the bar for what a supermarket should and could be in the southeastern United States. This location is in the state of Florida's capital city of Tallahassee and is an attribute to the Publix brand and a testament to the values Publix puts on giving its customers the ultimate supermarket shopping experience. Publix built itself into the premier supermarket by offering fanatical customer service. I feel that their training teaches them to say to customers that the answer is yes, now what is your question? They teach their staff to greet people and to respond immediately to any question or issue a customer is having and get it resolved positively. They also have great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and whenever a conversation about Publix happens, you have to bring up their subs, which are affectionately known as Pub Subs. Being from the northeast where subs are amazing, it is hard to admit that a supermarket has the best subs, but here in the southeast, Publix subs rank amongst the best. All on all, I give this Publix give stars and my recommendation. Go check them out. If you are unfamiliar with Publix, one trip will have you a convert.

Very poor customer service. I never leave negative reviews, but I have been treated so rudely by the pharmacy staff on multiple occasions that I felt I had to let others know. Avoid this pharmacy, if at all possible.

The pharmacy manager at Vineyards Publix was incredibly helpful today. David got my prescription filled after another pharmacy offered little to no help. The Publix Vineyard pharmacy succeeded while the Village center failed. Having friendly and helpful people makes a world of difference. Way to go Publix Pharmacy in the Vineyards!

I am never going back to Publix pharmacy. I have been lied to my face. Clerk telling me rx will be ready in 20 minutes. Then in front of the pharmacist, saying she didn’t. Pharmacists telling me they never tell anyone 20 minutes. After receiving a text, that my script was ready, I was told it wasn’t ready and had to come from central office. I showed little miss lier the text. Her response. “O , you’ll have to wait for the pharmacist to get back from break. We can’t fill scripts unless the pharmacist is here. “ pharmacist says oh. This text was in error, it’s for a script you already picked up. Yes 2 days before I picked up a script and ordered another one. Same little clerk handled everything. Then denied it today. This is not the first time this has happened. I’m sure any orders placed can be traced back to who made them. A year ago, my family member was discharged from the hospital. In AM. I drove them directly to Publix pharmacy at vineyards. Together we left script. It was promised that evening. That evening, no script. Ok. Means they only miss 1 dose. BUT. This drug on for 4 days. Missing the meds, caused my family member to have a psychotic break, having to be re admitted to behavior health hospital. I live 1 mile from this Publix. I have been a customer there ever since they opened. Today I changed all scripts to Costco. Maybe the pharmacist needs to check the computer ID of his employees. Maybe script was never ordered. Same employee has lied to me about ordering. White girl. Long dark hair.

I don't get prescriptions much because I don't like them. I think they're overprescribed. But when I went in to get a thyroid prescription filled, it was $90. The pharmacist asked me if I knew how much the prescription would be and I said no. He never suggested I find a coupon on Good RX app on my phone. I didn't find out about it until after I bought the medication. I could have saved myself $40. I've decided not to get my prescriptions filled here again and I'm even seriously thinking of just not getting on this medication. I truly believe that the pharmaceutical industry is out of control. Our healthcare in this country is in crisis.

For me it's a convenient shopping option. They carry most of what I typically shop for with competitive prices.
