Prices are not posted on the used cars. They don't want informed buyers.Every car we looked at was the priced at high end of blue book value AND came with a $3,000 "care" package added on top of which amounted to rain repellant sprays, edge trim, and other high margin services that don't have any value. I think a clear coat was involved - that's the clear coat that peels and flakes off your car after you park in your driveway in Florida summers for a couple years - um...thanks but can I pay you to leave that off?For a $3,000 care (*cough*ripoff*cough) fee added to the already overpriced used cars, you would think these little money makers have been detailed to the nines right? Surely 3k buys a lot of vacuuming or shampoo? Yet when I looked at these "affordable" cars they showed little sign of having any work done or even basic cleaning to justify your cost as a buyer. I was told an ozone treatment could be involved. Nah, one car reeked of women's perfume and the other of cigarettes.I tried out (and liked) a car I'll affectionately call grandma's car. Low miles and looked fine. There was lots of visible dog hair on a couple seats. They handn't bothered to do any cleaning. It would have taken me a few minutes with a .25 cent lint roller to get the worst off. But all of ya'll get to pay a fancy 3k dealer fee for rain repellant spray (which has toxic PFAS) and other high margin services. Can you guys just clean the car, take your 1k dealer fee and call it a day? Can I pay you extra not to douse my car in toxic chemicals? So Grandma's car was nice, and I didn't mind that it reeked of dog, and the family probably sold it for under 10k to Toyota (they offered 2k for my husband's hybrid Toyota which is 8k-10k on the open market). But here you go buyer, this dealership is going to get you out the door with Grandma's 2010 dog car (a modest Honda accord/civic type car) for somewhere above 21k after taxes titles and fees are done. And they'll shake your hand really confidently so I guess you get a nice handshake thrown in for your down payment on a house. Just bring some lint rollers for the dog hair. On the bright side the salesperson wasn't pushy, and didn't object to us wanting to see the vehicles we liked. Two stars.Vote with your money. Restore buyer-centered car buying. Stop throwing money at them. They do this because you pay it. Stop doing that.

After spending almost 4 hours working out financial details and getting approved, drove away with my new Toyota Cross. One week later I was called at work and informed by their sales manager that a mistake had been made and to bring the car back as financing fell thru. That's the worst thing to experience especially since they asked why did you put all these miles on the car and how are we supposed to sell it as new? WARNING Stay away from these crooks and don't say you haven't been warned!!

I went to Peter Boulware Toyota to look at purchasing a Venza. After test driving and giving necessary info I waited 45 minutes for the manager to make me an offer. First if all they only offered me 14000 for my 2017 Lexus. It is worth at least 22,000. The car they were selling was a used car since it had 1000 miles on it. They gave me a price for a new car. 46,800.00. By the time they added everything up I would have been financing 69,000 dollars! Needless to say I walked out on them. I feel I was being taken advantage of as I was a women in there by herself. I feel like I was scammed.

I call this morning about a vehicle that was priced $32000, the girl informed me that the out the door price was $39000. What?? How?? She informed me that they added $2400 in other equipment and something else, Plus tax, tag, and title. Honestly they are doing bait and switch. I'm mad and I told them that I had read about their shady dealings. Since telling them that I know about them, they've called me numerous times trying to explain and trying to sell me a different car. Ummm no thx!!

I was in the market for a used car, and I decided to give Peter Boulware Toyota a shot. I was crystal clear about the price I was willing to pay before embarking on a two-hour journey from my home to their dealership. I didn't want to waste anyone's time, especially mine. I explicitly stated that I would pay their asking price, the $999 "process fee," and the usual taxes, title, and registration. It seemed like we were on the same page, so off I went to Tally (Tallahassee). The car I had my eye on had an asking price of $10,500. But lo and behold, when they presented me with the final numbers, the actual price magically dropped to $9,200 (cue mysterious music). Now, I'm no math genius, but that's quite a peculiar number, isn't it? As if that weren't puzzling enough, they decided to throw in $3,800 worth of "adders," whatever those are, making the grand total a whopping $13,000. Yes, my friends, we're talking about $2,500 worth of mysterious adders on a $10,500 car.To make matters worse, the finance person handling the numbers had the body language of a hungry shark and the audacity to be downright rude. It was like they were luring me in with promises, only to focus on draining my wallet once I sat across from them. Now, I really wanted that car, but hey, I believe in divine intervention. Thank goodness, my prayer for guidance on whether to buy this car was answered. In the end, I'm convinced that God saved me from these exceptionally skilled con artists. So, folks, beware of this agency! They might just try to reel you in with false numbers and a predatory demeanor. Stay vigilant, and may your car-buying adventures be filled with more honesty and fewer shady characters.

Terrible collision center. Took vehicle in the day the appointment was made for. They didn't show me coming in that day. And then wanted to reschedule. Never again will I take a car there.

Expensive as expected? Yes. Did I get service in a timely manner? Also yes. Did it all come at a cost? YES!! There are oil stains on the interior of my car that was not there prior to service at Peter Boulware. I have pictures of the clear interior when I dropped the car off and stains after picking it up perhaps that is an area to consider for future improvement. Disappointed.

Place is a sham. Added $4k to a $8,995 used Honda Accord. We walked out insulted. I was considering buying a new 4Runner TRD Pro there. Not now.

Absolutely the worst dealership out there. Do not use this dealership, especially if your sales manager is Jeremy Caldwell.

Just an all around terrible place to buy a vehicle. Salesmen are not really going to help you. This dealership is only concerned with increasing their bottom line. I leased a vehicle from them and had written confirmation that any Toyota dealership in the country will take the car back once the lease was over. For context I was moving in a year. Fast forward three years later and I went to a dealership up Kirby to rerun the vehicle and was told I could do it. Needless to say pandemonium ensued and hours of phone calls later the new dealership accepted the vehicle. It should be that difficult....... Avoid, avoid, avoid at all costs.

I have been a customer of Toyota for over 10 years and after my most recent experience I will not be returning. Three years ago I needed a broken door handle replaced and they did a fantastic job. This time I needed two more replaced and the experience and work was awful, especially for such a simple job. I had to follow up with the estimator more times then I can recall and each time my information was forgotten. After three months of follow up I finally got an appointment (all the correct parts were supposedly ordered and in) and they completed the work. I requested new door handles however they did not put a fully new handle on the passenger side, as part of the old one was used. On the drivers side the work is subpar as the rubber liner is slightly coming out from under it. Not complicated to put a door handle on, but apparently it is. I fully expect these to break again and will use my warranty however, after being a loyal customer for over 10 years I will be finding another body shop for any future work. Ordering parts and doing the work for such a simple job of door handles had to be this ridiculous, I couldn't imagine an actual large body job being done there with quality workmanship and organization.

Part 3 - Tuesday after Labor Day. Spoke with Mariah, she said car would be ready 3pm. Drove to dealership arriving 3:07 pm. Mariah said let's go see the car, on the walk to it, she noted they hadn't been able to fix the funky paint seam left front fender/bumper joint. She noted that edges sometimes come that way from the parts company. Said they'd get me another fender or knock $150 off the price. Looked at it and said, knock the money off the price. Went inside and the cashier came to ring the transaction. She was struggling to get computer to work. Finally ran my card. Couldn't print the invoices. I said email em, I'm gonna return my rental car and come back. Drove over by the highlander and transferred my things from rental to highlander. Noticed mat was missing from rear compartment. Looked under seats etc. also noticed 2 puncture holes in passenger seat. They weren't there when the car was dropped off. Called these two details out to Mariah. She said they must've lost the mat over at detailing and would order a new one. For the punctures in seat, fortunately she had a photo of the seat when it was dropped off showing no puncture. Manager, Marc Sizemore, came to the office and said they'd get a replacement seat cover. He apologized for the many issues that had taken place, indicating it wasn't the norm. Asked if there was anything else I needed... I asked him about interior ac vents where finish has come off around the edges - he looked at it and said, "we will order you 2 new ones, no charge". I got in the car to start my drive home - once in the sunlight, I was shocked at how filthy the interior is - covered with paint dust! No one had detailed it. I figure they were in the car tuning the Radio to hip hop station that was set, and that's how holes were punched in seat. Found a bent nose pliers in the car as well. Next - wait for a call letting me know mats, seat cover and vents have arrived!
