Don’t go to the hair salon! I paid $400 for Cirea O. to turn my daughter’s hair orange and then blame it on her. My daughter booked and appointment to have the EXACT same service she had the previous year before school. Cirea O. charged me $100 extra dollars. She told my daughter she was running late and her hair did not need toned. My daughter wanted dark brown hair with blonde highlights. Her bangs were crooked and her entire head is orange. There is no blonde. My daughter’s hair is naturally blonde so I have no clue HOW that could’ve happened! I used to take my daughter here and over pay because I expected the service to be TOP notch. I called them after we left and my daughter wasn’t so humiliated to request it be toned. She then proceeded to tell me my daughter that she ask for orange hair. WOW I will never go back.

Update as of 08/05/2025:
After posting my honest review about my first-time visit to this Ulta location, I received a disturbing comment on my personal YouTube channel from someone who clearly went out of their way to make a WHOLE FAKE account just to find little ole me. JUST IMAGINE! My name or channel was never mentioned in the original Google review, (nor was this mentioned in my actual video) which makes it all the more alarming that they tracked me down to leave a nasty and dismissive comment regarding my experience and how I felt in the store.
Let me be clear: I did not realize how uncomfortable I actually felt until reviewing the video footage from that day. In the moment, nothing was said. But upon rewatching, it became obvious to me that me and my daughter were being followed — and that experience, whether intentional or not, deeply affected me. I never said the staff were rude. I simply shared how the experience made me feel.
The commenter also falsely claimed that cameras are not allowed in the store. That is untrue. I was recording with my camera in plain sight, even while a staff member was actively helping us on the floor. No one stopped me. No one said it wasn’t allowed. No one from management has ever responded to my original review to clarify anything — which, again, would’ve been the professional and appropriate way to handle this if my experience was a misunderstanding or a one-off.
Instead, someone felt the need to cross boundaries and find me personally. That tells me everything I need to know. If this happens again, I will not hesitate to report it to the authorities.
Everyone is entitled to share their experience, especially when they leave a business feeling uncomfortable or profiled. My experience is valid, and I stand by my review.
I don't care if the man profiling me was black. I am not that stupid to think that companies don't hire other people WHO LOOK LIKE ME to profile people WHO LOOK LIKE ME! I see it done all the time!!!
I'm definitely documenting everything that happens from this point on anyone outside of this company trying to intimidate me on the internet. It's not going to work!

My daughter and I went to this store b/c we were told that this was the place to go for skincare. She's 12 and Ulta was our 3rd store in search to help her find something. So happen, this was also a day I decided to vlog for my YouTube channel. I had my camera on record the entire time from the time we walked in to the time we walked out which was about 25 minutes. Now that I am editing this video, I am realizing that what I thought was going on was actually happening. We were being followed and profiled. Being that it was our first time in the store, at the time, I didn't think anything of it. I noticed him but again, I decided to ignore him because I thought he was a customer. This man followed us to every section of this store and stayed behind us staring at us our entire visit. It's really creepy to watch. We left because we found that the prices were simply too high, so we left. Now looking at this footage, I am so disappointed with this store. Thank GOODNESS, my baby girl didn't notice him or this happening. This review is nice considering what I actually WANT to do... I've just made the decision to never support or spend any money with this company moving forward. So tread lightly when shopping here.

I had an incredible experience with Dante from the ULTRA store in Tallahassee, Florida. Dante is a highly skilled and knowledgeable Beauty Advisor whose professionalism and personable nature truly set him apart. Dante’s mastery of the art and craft of makeup application is remarkable.
He has an extraordinary ability to bring out someone’s true self. After his makeup tutorial, I felt empowered and confident, equipped with the skills he taught me to replicate his techniques at home.
His teaching style is clear, engaging, and inspiring. I highly recommend Dante to anyone seeking a transformative makeup experience.
Dante I know that you are an highly sought after Advisor and I want you to know that I am the one that “came back to the store” all because of you. I was the one who had my sister with me and because of you, I will be back and I will continue to refer you to others.

Today I was helped by a young man named Dante at the store, and I just want to say how pleased I was with his service. He helped me with exactly what I needed and was very attentive and assertive in helping me choose the right item. On top of that, he clearly knows what he’s doing — he has great knowledge about makeup and skin tones. I left very satisfied with the attention I received. Thank you, Dante!

I went to get a cut and partial highlight. The girl that I had been seeing was booked up for quite a few weeks. I tried a different girl. The haircut was awful and highlights weren’t visible. I talked with the manager and was booked for a redo. The haircut was still not done properly and my normal ash blonde was now gold, extremely brassy.! I was SO disappointed. Think I need a new salon .

Very disappointing experience at the Ulta Salon in Tallahassee. My stylist canceled my appointment last minute for a service I needed for an important early morning ceremony. When I arrived to check in, another stylist, who had just finished with a client, apologized but didn’t offer any help or alternative. She said she was leaving, and that was it.
Apologies mean little when there’s no real effort to assist a client in a time-sensitive situation. It was clear they didn’t care to accommodate or find a solution. I won’t be returning, and I don’t recommend this location.

Outstanding customer service here. I shop delivery orders here sometimes, and the staff is wonderfully helpful. I’ve seen it in the way they deal with other customers too. A+

Several items in the store are mispriced and when I asked it to be verified, the girl working the floor told me those were the prices. Got the registers and several items rung up to be the wrong price the cashier didn’t give a care she literally looked at me as I had made up the price and wouldn’t honor the prices even on the tag. Horrible customer service and even worse price tagging. I budget how much I plan on spending and to get to the register and not one, not two but several items prices are wrong. I love Ulta, it was my first make up store I shopped at. I’m very disappointed 😔

Today I got helped by Dante and he was very energetic, eager to help, knew exactly where the products were in the store and was very knowledgeable about everything we needed help with. He was incredible and exactly the kind of experience I would expect from ulta.

This is a review of the salon today. I came in for an appointment at 11:30. The lady told me my stylist called out but it would just be a few minutes. I asked if I should leave and come back and she reiterated no that it wouldn't be that long. I waited for 40 minutes and then asked should I just come back a different day. Then the same lady asks if I can come back later. Now I'm super frustrated because I already suggested this and she said no. So no, now I just left.
I am understanding of people calling out and if they had just CALLED ME and said hey your person called out can you come in later I would've just done that. But no, they let me sit and waste my time. I don't recommend coming here if you want a reliable salon experience.

Hands down the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at an Ulta. After a recent mishap where I lost a few products, the manager, Lottie, went above and beyond to help me replace what I lost, and then some! She was incredibly kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend this Ulta to anyone looking for great service and a caring team!
