It's a very good post office was very helpful employees the lines are generally only one or two people on a constant basis so there's really no waiting to speak of. They have everything you need to ship whatever you want right there and are glad to help you to find and pack and seal up anything that you're sending away

My time sensitive, certified mail with a Money Order in it arrived in Tallahassee on Thursday, 24-Mar. Apparently it takes 4 days to move it across town to the Secretary of State office, because it said it would be delivered by Monday, 28 Mar by 9:00PM. Here it is Saturday, 02-Apr and still not delivered. Called 4 post offices, many, many times, on Friday and 1 answered. They said they couldn't help me. The Secretary of State office said they go days without receiving mail..... Seriously? Days??? When people are sending time sensitive, legal documents to the Secretary of State, they go days without receiving mail? It has been sitting in a sort room in Tallahassee for 9 days now. Ridiculous. I NEED THIS DOCUMENT SO I CAN MOVE IT TO WASHINGTON DC FOR IT"S NEXT LEGALIZATION STEP before it expires........ You can bet your house I'll be using FedEx for that shipping.

FOR INTERNATIONAL PACKAGES: DON'T LET USPS SCAM YOU!I wanted to send a paper envelope to South America. As someone who rarely ships anything, even domestically, I read the signs exactly as they read, and chose express international (3-5 days) to send my envelope. You know, $60 to send a paper envelope somewhere? Yeah, sounds good for express shipping! NO. After a week I return to USPS to ask for a partial refund because it didn't arrive on time. It's not until then that another rep explains to me that the "3-5 days doesn't start until the item leaves customs." Okay, I really wish the other rep would have told me that! So I ask the rep "So basically either pay for the 1-3 guaranteed shipping or the slowest rate, not the express because it doesn't actually matter/apply," and they said yes. Okay! They then proceed to tell me "If it doesn't arrive by Monday (2 week mark), then you can request a refund." Okay, sounds good! I understand the process now and everything is fine. I just hope it arrives before then. It doesn't. Okay, so I return to USPS the following Tuesday. The same rep is there and instantly gives me an attitude after I explained that I was only there to receive the partial refund they told me I could receive if it didn't arrive on Monday. They tell me I can't get a refund and basically it's not guaranteed with an attitude. Alright! Lesson learned: USPS SUCKS, DON'T GET EXPRESS MAIL! WASTE OF MONEY. ONLY EITHER PAY FOR THE REALLY EXPENSIVE GUARANTEED 1-3 DAYS OR PAY THE CHEAP 6-10 DAYS WHICH IS ACTUALLY ABOUT 3-4 WEEKS. MONEY IS MONEY! That's all. Have a great day. :)

The five stars is for the service. Everyone I ha e encountered here has been nothing but professional.I just wish the higher ups would understand they need more than just 1 person to work behind the desk and handle the special pickups and box up the mail each day. This PO covers downtown Tallahassee, FSU and many many businesses. Sure, it's not as busy as Centerville, but they need help at this PO!!!

Thank you. This was my first trip here and it was a great experience thanks to Mr. Moriya. He had no hesitations with assisting me in choosing the proper stamp... And surprisingly there were no lines.

Cynthia is my favorite USPS worker. The wait times are much shorter here, and the staff is friendlier.

Even before USPS became overwhelmed the average wait time at this location is 25+ minutes. I've seen the line be 15 people deep and the clerks make no effort to move any faster than a snail's pace. I've been to this location roughly five times in the past week and one clerk in particular never wears her mask over her nose. Speaking to other people, I've heard the same from them - that she never wears her mask over her nose. This particular clerk is extremely unhelpful and it seems like she just absolutely hates being there. I dread possibly being checked out by her because her attitude just saps any happiness from you that you may have experienced previously in the day. Questions are generally met with disregard.

Horrible! Called ahead of time to see where my package was located because it was sent back to the postal facility and the automated voice message told me that it was at the Downtown location at W Park Ave. The location is hard to find because kept telling me I had reached my destination but continues to send me the back way until I was able to figure out the location was on the other side of the street. Finally arrive to the location just to be told that my package is actually at the Martin Luther King location near Tharpe because Park Ave is not a delivery location. Why direct people to go there if you cannot service them? The lady at the counter said that she’s been telling customers that come in the same thing. Why even go through all that and just change your call directory to send people to locations that are specific to their zip code. It’s annoying because I called early at 8:55 am to make sure I get the location on time to pick up the package and make it to work. Thanks a lot because my time was wasted because I didn’t get my package and I’m late for work ?!!!!

Paul the manager needs to be replaced. He is extremely rude, unprofessional and uneducated. Has no clue of the rules and regulations of the United States Postal service.
