Another gym Ruined. Equipment not fixed for about a month now. You have to walk across the gym for paper towels. Kids working out in crocs and pajamas definitely a safety hazard. Sad that you can't get a real workout anymore in these type of gyms. The only upside to this gym are the people in the front counter. Very polite and friendly but that's about it

I've been attending this gym for a little over 2 years now and I use to love it. I took advantage of a Personal Training event they had and was signed up by Dominic (The Personal Training Manager) and he explained to me that I could cancel the training whenever I wanted and I wouldn't have to pay anything up front until the following week on a Friday. As soon as I signed, Crunch TOOK MONEY out of my account and proceeded to do so for the next 2 MONTHS even though I ended up cancelling the entire training. I came in and was issued a "Cancel and Refund" form and they WILL NOT honor it. I was told by another manager that it "meant nothing' and there was nothing more he could do for me. They continued to take money out of my account and now they're trying to send me to collections when THEY OWE ME MONEY AND I HAVEN'T HAD NOT ONE TRAINING. HANDS DOWN WORST GYM. Even the manager will lie just to get a signature. These people are sharks and refuse to give me my money back. I have gym ptsd now. NEVER AGAIN. THEY NEED TO FIRE THOSE MANAGERS AND TRY AGAIN. I'm so distraught and this has stressed me out for the past 3 months, I just don't know what to do anymore.

First, let me state that I Love Crunch gyms. All except the Tamarac location.1. This location is horrible, the men’s locker room is usually disgusting. The other day, there was garbage, paper towels, Kleenex, and dirty bandaids in the shower. The maintenance personnel should be fired.2. Don’t bother trying relax in the steam and sauna, most times there are people working out in them! They bring the weights in! Not to mention loud inappropriate music blasting. I brought this to the attention of the manager, he was polite, but nothing changed.3. Don’t be surprised if you can’t take a shower! The housekeeping woman that works there decides to shut it down whenever she chooses. Today I came in from the sauna, she very rudely snapped that she had announced it, I said there were several people including myself in the pool area who can’t hear announcements. She was nasty and said too bad.4. I love all the other S Florida locations, always clean and friendly. Unfortunately they don’t offer all the amenities that Terrible Tamarac is fortunate enough to have.

I'm in the military and just moved to the Miami area and still have a Colorado ID. I signed up for a day pass to check the place out. Get this....they would not honor their free day pass b/c I have an out of state ID. Did I already say I was in the military? Let me get this straight, you want to lose out on a $30 a month membership because you don't want to give a military member a free trial day pass. You want to charge me $15 to try the place out and lose out on $30 a month membership. The place looked tiny and over crowded anyway. Much better options to choose from anyway. You made my choice a lot easier. Thanks front desk clown.

This gym has alot of different activities that you can participate in depending on your membership plan. I personally like crunch fitness and their training program, it keeps you motivated and of course when you bring a friend it's definitely more enjoyable.

Disappointed by the customer service experience.In town for a few weeks and decided to try Crunch during my stay, paid for the monthly pass as I was only going to be able to us the gym for over 3 weeks. So far I was pleased with the facilities and all services available. To my surprise I went the gym today to take a class, as I have been normally doing and front desk with a really bad attitude told me that I was not allowed to take group classes since I had a monthly pass.This comes as a surprise as I was told from day one to just show up 5 minutes before any class, sign up and no problem, as a matter of fact I have been doing this up until today with no issues at all.I am not sure what is the issue but as mentioned it comes as a surprise as no one had ever brought this up to my attention, nor have prohibited me from taken any classes, as a matter of fact everyone had been really nice and helpful, one of the front desk staff even went beyond on one occasion and allowed me to use his boxing gloves for a class.Not sure what is the case but you need to be more explicit and consistent with the rules of what is and not allowed with your monthly passes, this is my last week in town and the last week using the gym services.Disappointed because so far my experience with the gym had been a very good one.

The worst customer service experience. Don’t recommend inquiring about any personal training they will steal your money!Dom was not helpful to any of my questions. Not sure how they keep clients in this location.

Had a membership here and a trainer. Beware though. Their personal training plans are like "contracts"..very important that you keep track of your sessions ;) as well they changed my email just a few letters so I would not be notified that my session was used when it clearly wasnt. Unfortunately, figured this out in the end. Also had a baby recently did not go for 120 days. Tried to cancel but could not unless I walked in... Hard to find the time with a newborn. Finally found the time and was told I'd be charged another 30 days because their policy states a 30 day notice. Lost a customer for life as their was no compassion and understanding. I did not even want a refund for the last 120 days. Customers beware when signing it is not black and white. There will be a time when I will need a gym membership but I will surely look elsewhere. Crunch fitness is not the only option. Although I was not made aware of these policies I do feel good about warning others. Have a bless day!

It pains me to write a negative review. I rarely go out of my way and waste time to write anything negative about any business but Crunch Fitness really doesn't care about the individual. I signed up for PT classes and paid in full with the expectations that they would/could be flexible with my schedule due to my demanding work schedule. Unfortunately, I could not get anything scheduled right off the bat. I asked my trainer if I could get a refund since we were not able to coordinate times. He referred me to his manager Dominick and he said , very un-empathically, there was nothing he can do except write and email to someone (he wouldn't tell me who) and get back to 3-5 business days. I never heard back. I called a week later and tried to talk to manager again and I got Rob. Rob was very nice and empathetic to my situation and said he would try to find a resolution and would get back to me. Rob convinced enough to where I would switch my trainer to him personally and he would accommodate me to his schedule. He said he would call me the following Tuesday and we would have an answer on the email and/or get started with PT. I'm disappointment to say he never got back to me. I called on two different occasions to speak with him and they said that he would call me back... still no communications. I went in today to go work out during my lunch and hopefully talk to someone and my status. Dominick approached me, and with the same un-empathetic tone gave me round about excuses of why they could not refund me. I asked him about the email and he stated again its going to take 3-5 days for whoever he sent the email to to get back to me. I explained to him it had been 2 weeks already....... At this point I was already frustrated and just started to walk into the gym then realized I didn't want to be there anymore and walked out. I couldn't even bring myself to work out. I don't if anyone has ever had a problem with Crunch Tamarac like this before but if anyone knows someone above Dominick I can speak to get this resolved please send that information. I spent almost 1k on PT classes that I can't even use nor want to use at this point. Their response felt like o'well too bad.

Literally love everyone who works here. They are so nice and motivational the trainers are cool to and willing to answer questions and the atmosphere alone is awesome

I started coming here back in May and the staff has always been super friendly, helpful, and attentive to any needs. By far my favorite gym I’ve been a part of!
