I have frequented this laundromat many times over the years. On 1/21/2025, I was treated so disgustingly by the owner of this establishment. When I told her about her behavior she gaslit me and told me to leave the place. It’s shameful that you attempt to support local ethnic businesses but are treated poorly. Honestly, this is not the first time she has acted this way. I was tired of her terrible attitude and told her about it on this occasion. She couldn’t take any accountability nor did she conduct herself professionally as a business owner. My next step is to file a complaint against this business with the Better Business Bureau. If you’re in the Tamarac area, please do yourself a favor and find another laundromat who will treat you with dignity and respect.

Not a bad spot, but it’s a Monday morning and it’s 8:20am, they were supposed to be open at 8am, aside from that, this spot is pretty cool most of the time.

No machines available ,very very loud Spanish music playing that's very offensive to other Customers ,no baskets to use, No place to sit ,Very very hot.. I would definitely give this place no stars if I could but it forces you to at least leave one.

Pretty good, comfortable spot for doing laundry. Nicely air conditioned and clean. I don’t get that “yuuuck” feeling as with other mats that let gunk pile up in their machines. Several different machine sizes to chose from but not too many available. One thing I wish they’d have is menus to let you know how many pounds the washers are, how much, and how much the dryers cost. But not too big of a deal, the washers washed very quickly which was great ? and bonus: they have one of the nicest bathrooms I’ve ever visited !

I used to think this place was okay. But I went there this morning they were closed. They're supposed to open at 8. By 8:30 I was still waiting. No answer at their phone, and no voicemail. Plus when I arrived there was a homeless person sleeping right in front of the place. ?Never again! I decided to check out the new place that opened on Southgate at Rock Island, called Laundomart. It's bigger, clean and new, and opens an hour earlier than Lakeside (and on time). The washers are 50 cents cheaper, too.

Clean and plenty of machines. May need a couple more of the big machines, I wash my comforters there. But the lady who works there is super friendly and helped me immediately when my quarter got stuck (my fault).
