Publix & esp. this one is not what it used to be. Cheap oil used excessively in prepared food, especially fried chicken and popcorn - felt ill after. But prices are the same.

Normally love this publix and normally great. Today the guy at the sushi counter had a bit of an attitude and when I brought it up he said maybe we just have different ideas of rude. I'm not sure but I don't think when a customer asks if there is shrimp in an item the correct answer would be "if it had shrimp it would say shrimp" lol I guess I'm too stupid to read a label, or my first time buying sushi as I told the guy. But hey he was probably having a bad day.

Deli never has hot soup. Or if they do it’s always out by the evening time, which is unfortunate and poor planning on their behalf. I’ve learned to not waste my time even trying after trying multiple times.

For this publix to be the closest to where I live, they NEVER have any FRIED CHICKEN when I come buy it. I MEAN NEVER. I will start going to the publix on East Commercial and dixie🙄

Ordered food online at 11am. Came to pick up at 1135. It took over 5 minutes for deli staff to even acknowledge me and the guy that was there before me. I'm fine waiting, but it's bad customer service to just stare at customers while they wait without saying anything.
They couldn't find my sandwiches. They say they didn't get the tickets but They go to the ticket printer and there's 3 yards worth of receipt and all of a sudden "your ticket JUST printed"
We had to wait an additional 15mins for them to make more chicken tenders for the sandwich.
I talked to multiple customers that were frustrated and having similar issues.
The sandwiches were VERY good and though.
A focus on customer service, management, and hiring more people would probably solve a lot of these issues

The deli here on Thursday is the slowest I've ever seen in a publix. The lady looks miserable, i never seen her change her gloves after touching everything everywhere. I only stayed in line because I ordered hot food. 27 mins in line only 2 people were in front of me.

This is the worse Publix to shop at, Management needs to be retrained including the associates they oversee especially in the Meat, Bakery and Deli department!
They are not eager and always have an attitude when paying customers need assistance. I absolutely hate doing orders at this store! The shelves are almost never stocked or stocked properly.
The stockers need to be retrained too. There’s not one time I go to this location that the stockers are maintaining the merchandise on the shelves.
They only person who needs a raise at this location is the cart associate because that’s the only thing that’s always available.
Most of the employees at this store has a language barrier or a physical disability which makes it hard for them to assist.
Today, around 2pm was the first time I seen the sub station empty!
And I was so happy, because those associates don’t deserve any customers! What they need is their hours cut. They enjoy Ignoring customers and having personal conversations amongst each other, especially when they’re is one in front of the case, to assist.
Consumers, Please shop else where to save yourself a headache. The store in lauderhill on 56th, is more welcoming and the associates there are always willing to help and the store is always clean and fully stocked.
It’s crazy how all these customers have made reviews in detail to their horrible shopping experience at this location.And no one from Publix head quarters has tried to rectify these issues.
It’s ok I’ll send our complaints to Publix headquarters because something needs to be done.
And those people who made those 4-5 stars reviews are definitely lying.
Maybe, send a decoy shopper at that location and let them experience the pleasure shopping at this Publix provides, this store most be a franchise?! There’s no way HR see these reviews and says do absolutely nothing about it I’m sure the inventory and lack of customer service has impacted this stores revenue compared to the other locations.

Overall good. One complaint: the girl who was supposed to be assisting with putting groceries into the carts, was just standing there poking at a stuffed bear. At least she should have moved to the side while I was doing her job, instead of standing in my way. Otherwise, this is a good Publix. This was just a one off situation, I am sure.
