Very informative and helpful during my weighted vest purchase. They spent a good amount of time with me getting the fit right. The sales associate had great product knowledge. The vest and plates are pricey, but the quality is very good. With daily use, I don't know how long the cheap Amazon offerings would last.

Great experience. Lots of cool tactical gear and clothing. Needed pants for working outdoors security and there were a bunch of styles to choose from. CustomerService is extraordinary. On a scale of 1-10 the staff (Perri & Tarek) were 15! So helpful. Would highly recommend.

Great service from professional staff. Could have spent $1000’s in there as so much to choose from and great atmosphere. So helpful and although didn't have exactly what i wanted, i left with the best available choice. The girl manager Perry was very friendly and pleasant and a credit to 5.11’s Customer Services. If you want good service and products, then this is the outlet for you.

Perry was super friendly and helpful.Felt like shopping with a friend I've known for years!!... It felt easy to trust her to help me find the right pant size (Something im usually embarrassed about).She is also super knowledgeable regarding the items in store and was able to make perfect and appropriate suggestions accordingly!

Place has lots of items to choose from.However, the people working there wouldn't let me look and pick what I wanted. Gave me pants that they highly recommend to everyone. I just feel as a customer I should be able to choose what I want unless I need help.

I bought a chest rig and have spent a few hundred dollars over the last couple of purchases. I wanted to exchange the chest rig because I made a mistake and bought the one without. I have never returned anything and I just wanted to exchange it for the one I needed. The employee still thinking he is in the military tips his ball cap hat down and looks like the other guy who has the same appearance. Since I wasn’t clearly able to visibly see his face I confused him with the young gentleman and that upset him even further. Maybe you should keep your face unobstructed so that people can recognize who you are. I clearly admitted to him that I thought he was someone else and then I asked to speak to the store manager And which then he identified himself as such. For a company that caters to first responders and makes money off our backs by selling us gear design for us you’ll be surprised to know that if you don’t have the backing for the chest or other item they will exchange it for you.Make sure you don’t make any mistakes purchasing from 511 from now on because otherwise you may not get your money back and get stuck with a product you don’t need.We’re expected to represent our organizations to the best of our abilities and this gentleman Simply started off his conversation with no.,To the 511 store I visited in Kansas City, I could honestly tell you that the gentleman went out of his way to help me and give me as many discounts as possible and make sure that that I was properly taken care of. Not all managers are created and it’s unfortunate that Corporate would suffer for someone who doesn’t care

Went there to get clothing for my new bouncer gig, the employee, Misa, I believe, helped me personally all the way through, from sizing and recommending the best gear. Only reason I gave 4 stars is the price runs a little on the hefty side, 5.11 runs expensive but they have decent stuff
