The Night of 1/01/24 Anywhere Between 7pm & 8pm, This Was The Worst I Have Ever Experienced Anywhere. The Short Spanish Man That Was Working By HimSelf Is Extremely Awful With His Language, His Attitude Is Horrible & If This Place Doesn't Handle Any Of That, Then It Will Always Be An Awful Place. He Refused Me From Buying A Homeless Pregnant Lady , That I Know Personally, A Few Items In The Store. I’m Telling You He Is VERY HORRIBLE & Does NOT Represent This Store Properly. Disrespect Is What Kind Of Customer Service He Provides.

This is the worst one... After you fight through the homeless people standing in front of the store, then you have to deal with the actual crackheads who work here. If they're even functioning enough to ring you up properly, hope that they don't have a scanner on their PoS and take your card number. The best part is that when I mentioned that I had 2 issues recently, I was told that this store didn't have a manager... so apparently they just walk in, start working, and don't report to anyone.Nice job.

The general manager is great! He is firm in his expectations and fair with employees. Staff are mostly good. This store is one of the busiest stores in Florida (second busiest I believe) and is understaffed. **Despite this, the District Manager (tall white guy, probably late 50s) repeatedly berated management and staff in front of customers**. It is unprofessional to yell at staff like he did, and honestly I no longer want to support this company. A company which permits a District Manager to belittle staff and the store manager is not one I want to associate with. And when I say yelling, I mean screaming at the manager in the middle of the store when customers are all around. I think the regional manager or franchisee should take action. His statements also regarding "this generation" imply discrimination and animosity towards most staff who are of younger age. I was a brand new employee and specifically quit due to him. The GM trained me well, the staff were supportive, and this guy (DM) is a word class narcissistic a-hole!

The power hungry insecure rent a cop in the store loves to talk down to people. This guy wishes he was an actual cop so bad. Too bad he's just a security guard patrolling a convenience store on weekend nights.

Very clean but long time to check out and quite pricey even for a 7-11. Also all of the hot food was very old and unfresh looking extremely dried out

I swear it's like nobody cares there anymore, pretty sad. It used to be better years ago but now it's just awful. There seems to be no management of staff, instead of training and following up with staff it seems they just fire and replace them, without ever making sure anyone is doing their jobs. several times my roommate has tried to load a paypal card at the register and the employees either act like they cannot do that or just say they "do not know how" to do it. Today I left my home, paid for a Uber to this 7-eleven, right now I have knee injuries so it's a struggle to get around, anyhow I make it all the way to the store, I approach the register and ask to load my paypal card, the guy behind the counter is clearly a new hire, he says he didn't know how so he asked the other more senior employee and he told the clerk to just say it's down and/or not working. This was literally the only reason I left my house and given my knee injuries, it was not exactly easy but I needed to load my card so I can pay some bills.. But clearly nobody can seem to do their job here and its just a disgrace. Now I have to waste more money on a Uber to the bank to pay my bills. Also the paypal issue is one thing, they have also completely botched orders placed with Uber Eats and the 7-eleven delivery app. I wonder when management will start to provide oversight of the employees? instead of firing and replacing people over and over and over. Sad story.

The clerk (description is skinny white male with tattoos) was showing improper exhibition of a weapon because a costumer needed to use a bathroom. He pulled a baton and hit the counter inside the store very hard telling a costumer to get out. The incident happened around 12:00am-1:00am on March 4,2023Improper Exhibition of a Firearm or Weapon is defined under Section 790.10, Florida Statutes. The statute prohibits any person from “having or carrying any dirk, sword, sword cane, firearm, electric weapon or device, or other weapon” and, in the presence of another person, exhibiting the weapon “in a rude, careless, angry, or threatening manner, and not in necessary self-defense.”I would suggest that in the future 7-eleven picks more carefully who they would like to be representing their brand.

Please do not support casual/convenient racists. This evening upon attempting to make a purchase, I pointed out a price discrepancy to the clerk. Said chap informed me the price discrepancy was not possible... Yet when evidence to the contrary was presented, said clerk asked "why I need it to be a Jew about" the pricing and that I "shouldn't be buying it" if I were to continue to be "a Jew about it."Paraphrasing aside, please do not support racists, please do not support the Ybor 7-Eleven.

The customer service here is unbelievable it shouldn’t be in ybor if it’s not welcoming and wouldn’t even let a pregnant woman use the restroom. Ernesto should really work on that seems to be a bit timid around customers.
