I purchased an item for my car that didn't work as it was supposed to.i took the item back with the receipt, walked in (was having a good day) the manager Juan was irritable RUDE and talked down to me. When I explained I no longer needed the item and the fact the item was defective Juan informed me "that's not how it works" apparently in thismanagers eyes regardless of why you're not supposed to return an item. Please pray for Juan to find happiness and peace with whatever it is that has him so disrespectful.

This place on Bearss Avenue 33613, is the absolute worst. The employees are unhelpful. The manager is probably selling space to the Taqiera taco truck that is plastered in the parking lot all day, everyday. The noise level is rude and ridiculous. It can be heard up to a half mile away. The customers or friends of the employees and manager are using this spot as a hang out or weed spot. If a store needs to be closed, choose this one. It won't be missed!!I wouldn't send a ducking a tutu in there for an air filter.

This place used to be great, but on my last visit it was something else... Workers behind the desk where clueless , playing around and the guy that was helping me out which appeared to be in charged was carrying on a full conversation with his gf while helping me and leaving me waiting. Even try explaining to him beforehand that I wanted a specific oil filter with my oil and he gave me a look like if I was d**** Looks like these places are just hiring to fill in spots.

The store was closed and it was 10 minutes before their door said they were open until. The guy came out as I was getting in my car and had the curtesy of saying why don't I come back tomorrow earlier in the day.

WHOEVER IS IN CHARGE OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT: YOU NEED TO DEAL WITH THE DELINQUENTS THAT LOITER IN THE PARKING LOT AND BLAST ABSURDLY LOUD MUSIC AFTER STORE HOURS. IT IS AFFECTING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PEOPLE THAT LIVE IN THE AREA. WE HAVE CALLED THE NON-EMERGENCY POLICE LINE ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS NOW AND STILL NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.

Prices were more expensive than their main competitor. Selection was about the same as competition. The covid shields were annoying to get merchandise through ( take them down please) but the staff was knowledgeable. The clerk had the right recommendation when the battery I suspected bad tested good. He said to check the connection at the starter and it should run. Sure enough, the terminals were tight but were gunked up from grime. Cleaned them off and the car started up.

To be honest, this review isn't about Advance auto in general. Only this store and maybe just the current store manager. She didn't tell me her name. She's blonde, chubby, around her 50s.Below you can see the 3 year free replacement battery she tried everything not to honor.First she said, it's a Volvo, I won't touch it. Then she said she can't find my account for the warranty. Although I showed her my account directly from advance auto website and her store as the installation site. See the picture.Then she came to the car and said battery has a cover on it. She won't do it and went back to store. I offered to open it up myself. After I opened she tested and said the battery is good, just needs a recharge. But she can't recharge because they put the charging unit away for today.I had to call the advance auto customer service to get anything done on the vehicle. Only speaking to customer service, she brought the alternator tester out.For advance auto in general, my rate is 5 stars.Thank you.

Since the pandemic this particular store closes early. A few times i have stopped in around 8:30p.m. and they are closed already. When business hrs say on the door clos 9:00 p.m.
